NO FEARS by Cindi Curtis

Happy Fourth Sunday of Advent. Yes, it is December, and today’s Advent theme is love.

To be fully honest, Michael and I have jackets. Not coats. Jackets. We opted to leave them out of the picture.

Fourth Advent is about God’s love for humanity. I am claiming that love to support a growing idea I have about my life.

If I dwell in God’s love, what is there to fear? A 1000 mile move? I’ve tested the idea of doing that in the context of God’s will. I am at peace.

Michael posed a question. “Suppose what we think is going to happen between us doesn’t… Is moving to Memphis still a good thing?”

I spent a lot of time thinking about that and talking to mom and dad. Always, the thoughts came back to there being no reason to NOT move, other than the expense.

Mom said, “If you don’t like it there, move somewhere else. You work remote! You could move to the moon.”

While there would be some technical issues with moving to the moon, her point is valid. I think she sees this change in my life as a revolution in my healing. She’s probably not wrong.

Dad has used up all of his monthly internet bandwidth researching where I should look for a home. His answer: Bartlett.

“On St. Elmo and Alturia, there’s a Walgreens across the street from a Walmart Neighborhood Market. Gas station… a few shops. You’d be able to avoid the busier areas most of the time. Krogers is about 5 minutes away on the corner with a lot of other stuff. It’s a safe area. Easy interstate access.”

He wants to put a pin in the map there and find some rent-to-owns that I can move into quickly, then work out a purchase later this year.

I haven’t told anyone this, but I’ve got a vague idea about Michael moving, too. Not moving in with me… Just getting closer. I’ve not worked that out yet, but since he’ll read this, I guess it will come up!

That’s all for today. We’re heading into church, now. Merry Christmas, and see you soon.

Be your best you!

"Thank You" Message to Paying Supporters:

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.

Patreon members… You are covering a nice portion of that.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Again, thank you very, very much.

Your dad is spot on with his suggestion. Excellent suggestion. Suppose what we think...?? Ahem, Michael, good sir, I understand there might be some hesitancy, big changes are in your future. But it will happen...at some point. You love her. She loves you. She is moving 1,000 miles. Everything is better ...together. Thanks for both of you attending church together. And thanks for the update. Have a great day.
