Chapter 38: BETRAYED! by Addison Magee

Yesterday, my wonderful roommate betrayed me! I shared my “clean water awareness” idea with her and she told you it’s a joke!

Come on! Think about it.

If we really want to raise awareness about the need for clean water, a line of bikini-clad women doing a bucket brigade would be Instagram success. I made a sketch, but you can think about it… We get like 100 swimsuit models in bikinis, all lined up doing a bucket brigade to move clean water from the source to the village.

There would be lots of sloshing and spillage (the water, of course), and lots of smiles and laughter!

A caption like “Don’t take clean water for granted” scrolling across the bottom of the video would at least be seen! I even asked ChatGPT and it said this:

A reel of bikini bucket brigade with DON’T TAKE CLEAN WATER FOR GRANTED scrolling across the bottom?

That would go feral on Instagram. People would watch it, share it, argue about it, stitch it, hate-comment it…and the message would still spread.

So, take that, my lovely, wonderful roommate! It’s two against one! And if you ask Kent, he’ll agree with you but that doesn’t count, and you know it.

Now, I only have two days to find like 100 swimsuit models… Still, it’s a great idea.
