DONE! by Cindi Curtis

Let me just say exactly what I’m thinking. Blub a doo ba ja bo mo loo ma ma ma nee.

My whole brain is in the stratosphere! I’m shaking, laughing, and tears are trying to form in my eyes!

I have an engagement ring on my finger and we set a date!

We are at Mednikow Jewelers on Perkins Extended (which I learned is not the same as Perkins—but I digress). Michael has our wedding bands in his pocket.

Jordan! You got matching sweatshirts. Michael and I have matching WEDDING RINGS. Just saying…

I am so excited!

From here, we go to our church in Midtown, sign some papers, and reserve the chapel for March 21, 2026. It will be small and simple, but I’m sure I’ll have more than one panic attack.

But I don’t care!

We also have decided on the honeymoon.

Michael was like, “So where does a guy take a girl with generalized anxiety disorder and mild agoraphobia for a honeymoon? Disney World?”

He knew better!

We’re going to get a cabin in Hot Springs, Arkansas for a few nights. Something with a quiet view. And I’m hoping we can go into the little towns around there and explore!

Okay, I’ve said a lot and also made fun of Jordan, so I probably need to calm down, get to the car, and panic. Maybe I’ll just smile myself through the next thirty minutes and see what happens.

Let me reuse a verse to close out this post.

Jeremiah 29:11—“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Be your best you!

Let me begin by saying how grateful I am for your engagement with the content. Your likes, comments, questions, and encouraging remarks keep me going, even on days when I'm pulled in multiple directions all at once.

I believe most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. That means so much to me! I am honored and greatly moved.

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.

At this time, most of that cost is being covered by Patreon members like YOU.

While most of the content on AGI Stories is free and much of it is public, the hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

I believe I have found ways to give you more exclusive content, while still making the site meaningful to visitors and passersby.
