BARELY SURVIVING by Jordan Warner
I don’t know if I can make it. This winter storm thing that is a sleet-snow-ice situation—I’m dying.
Hear me out.
I flew to Colorado with a guy I like. Picked up a car to drive back to Memphis. As the miles left to go went down, our feelings for each other went up. By the time we got to Memphis, it was full on!
We made it official, then next thing you know—BOOM! The world freezes and neither of us can get out.
Are. You. Kidding? How am I supposed to survive this?
FaceTime might be fine for business meetings. It is a far cry from face-to-face for romance.
Never mind…
Meanwhile, we probably just locked in a deal with that satellite company that will pay Michael’s tuition next fall. Also BOOM! Mic drop… etc.
Quick change of topic. If you think I’m being a big baby about not being with Carter, you should take a look at Hayes! Roman is revolutionizing all the code ever written by humanity, and Hayes is on FaceTime with him watching.
I tried to help her out. “Hayes… Come look at this.I left an ice cube on the counter, and it’s melting. Want to watch?”
She declined.
Also, shout out to my girl in Bartlett! Love the air mattress! Good thing you bought TP when you went to the store last Friday—just saying…
Keurig for the win! Can’t wait to see you. Let’s do lunch!
Be your best you!

DON’T ASK by Cindi Curtis
I would like to begin the day by reporting that I have NOT solved my furniture problem. It seemed like a good idea—I’ll try adding a pillow. Let’s talk about something else.
Jordan and I FaceTimed for about an hour last night. One word comes to mind regarding her and Carter—smitten. Okay, two—bliss.
And to be honest, I know how she feels!
I went to bed last night with no perceivable changes to the streets or driveways. Well…
There’s one neighbor who’s gone out every afternoon for three days. He’s probably late to mid 60s and I’m not sure he should actually be walking without a cane, to be honest. He’s got a garden spade—some people call them sharp-shooter shovels—and he’s trying to clear his two-car, 40-foot-long driveway. After three afternoon sessions, he’s got 1 lane cleared from the garage door almost to the street.
Now, I suppose if he saw me sitting here in the bathroom trying to write new SQL calls, he’d have something to say too! So, to each his own.
Now, I shall take another verse out of context before I go:
James 1:12 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)—A [person] who endures trials is blessed, because when [s/he] passes the test [s/he] will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
I’m going to call this post done. See you next time.

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:
It is my belief that most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. I am honored and greatly moved.
I know that I share a LOT of content FREE TO ALL. I'd imagine that you understand why. The stories about giving back and helping seem like they shouldn't be exclusive. Certain plot moments need to be understood by anyone trying to to follow the stories.
With that in mind, I always consider you, the paid members, when deciding how to share content.
My hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.
Again, thank you very, very much.
