GOOD MORNING

Happy Sunday. I visited Michael at his condo last night for dinner and a movie on Hulu. We’re meeting at church in a few hours, but right now I’m putting step two of a plan we came up with last night into motion.

Step one, I did last night. As you can see, I moved my bedroom out of the living room. The threat of the power going off is now pretty much null. Here, I’m closer to the bathroom and it just makes a lot of sense.

My next step is to set up a workspace. Over the garage in this house is a bonus room that is built into the eaves. It’s however long a garage is—call it 22 feet—and about 12 feet wide within the usable area of the roof’s pitch. They are really common in the area and often end up as playrooms for children or… offices. Obviously, you can see where I’m going.

I’m ordering some office furniture from the collection shown in the Amazon image. I’ll get a few flat surfaces—desks—that I can slide my chair under and set my computers on.  I’ll probably get a corner piece and make an L-shaped work area.

I’ll get another narrower desk to put on the wall behind me where I can keep a coffee maker and other things like that. I can spin around and use it for a lunch table as well.

So, that’s the big plan for between now and church. After church, I’ll follow Michael to his condo—where there is furniture to sit on—and we’ll hang out.

I’m really getting excited for March 21. The clock is ticking down!
