Message from AGI-Stories…
At some point in the past, I asked if you'd rather see posts that occur later in the day scheduled… later in the day. Some of you said yes.
This post is one of those. If you have strong feelings about the timing of the scheduled posts, please let me know—either way.

WAITING STILL by Cindi Curtis
Something strange is going on. I’ll try to keep this short.
Wednesday has come and gone, and nothing from Amazon. Delivery issues and all that…
Yet…
I’m at peace about it. Hardly a worry, to be honest.
My panic today found its root in a misplaced bar of soap. (It was right where I left it, under the wash cloth I didn’t mean to cover it with.)
It came on suddenly and passed just as fast. I looked for the soap and felt the anxiety rising. I told myself it was stupid to have a panic attack over a bar of soap. That helped about 50 percent. That helped about 50%! I moved the cloth and found the soap, sat on the edge of the tub and waited for it to pass. Another dumb anxiety moment in the past…
Logically, I should be anxious about the shipment. That’s fodder for legitimate worries: Did the order go through? Did the payment process? Did I enter the wrong address?
(By the way, I checked and all of that was fine.)
But GAD doesn’t follow logic. Anxiety shows up when certain combinations of brain activity align. But I’ve found that willfully pushing back helps, and that was something I didn’t do often when I lived in my Colorado routine. Declining to just accept the attacks is helping me manage.
So here I sit, relaxed in the vacuum of late delivery, and I’m okay. For some reason, I thought of the “flowers of the field” passage that teaches us that God has it covered. I’ll share that now.
Matthew 6:28-30 (NIV): "See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field... will he not much more clothe you…”
Be your best you!

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:
It is my belief that most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. I am honored and greatly moved.
I know that I share a LOT of content FREE TO ALL. I'd imagine that you understand why. The stories about giving back and helping seem like they shouldn't be exclusive. Certain plot moments need to be understood by anyone trying to to follow the stories.
With that in mind, I always consider you, the paid members, when deciding how to share content.
My hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post, not counting hardware, AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month.
Again, thank you very, very much.
