IT’S A START by Cindi Curtis

Hope you like my new over-the-garage office! I suppose you’ll be seeing a lot of me here!

Michael is on his way here, then we’re going to visit a church that’s nearby. With the wedding in the near future, it makes sense that we’ll have a church in this area.

As you can see, we got the office set up. It will be a nice place to work. And honestly, I’m probably a little behind—I haven’t been as efficient as I could have been without—you know—a chair. Two computers (and my laptop) also make things go faster!

Now, it’s time to get going, so I’ll wrap up the post with a short devotional thought that comes from my last couple of weeks.

I’ve been sitting on the floor a lot lately. Two weeks without real furniture will humble you fast. But you know what? The quiet has been good for my heart.

When you don’t have much, you start seeing how much you actually do have—warm coffee, hot showers, a working light, a safe place to sleep, and a God who never leaves.

Gratitude isn’t about comfort. It’s about perspective.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” —1 Thessalonians 5:18

Even on the floor, I’m blessed. Thank you for being with me as I grow!
