LIVING THE ROUTINE by Cindi Curtis

Today? Routine Tuesday meetings. Yesterday? Routine Monday: calls and coding.

Tomorrow? The forecast calls for a routine day of work.

More and more Michael is coming out to Bartlett for a routine dinner and routine hanging out.

You might detect a pattern here. My life is now comfortably following a routine. It’s new. Not the same routine as when I lived alone in Colorado. My new routine includes Michael, Jordan, Hayes, and, to a lesser extent, Roman.

It’s not hard and fast. There’s some variations now and then—like dining out, going to parks for a walk. But overall, things have settled down into something that feels good.

To make the routine even better, even though the wedding is a month away, Michael is going to have his living room furniture moved here. That just makes sense.

That happens later this week. Then sometime between now and the wedding, he’ll move his office furniture here, too. Then, lastly, the week before the wedding, he’ll move the rest of his stuff here and crash in a hotel for his last few nights as a bachelor.

As for the wedding… Jordan talked to my mom about her idea. Mom called to say it’s perfect and that I need to just trust them and not worry about it. They’ll tell me all the details when the time gets closer, but for now, I’m to just relax, keep settling in, and stay caught up at work so nothing interferes.

I’ll share a verse I was thinking about this morning to close this post. I went to BibleGateway to see what their verse of the day was. I’ve shared it before, but today it fits perfectly!

Jeremiah 29:11—For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:

It is my belief that most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. I am honored and greatly moved.

I know that I share a LOT of content FREE TO ALL. I'd imagine that you understand why. The stories about giving back and helping seem like they shouldn't be exclusive. Certain plot moments need to be understood by anyone trying to to follow the stories.

With that in mind, I always consider you, the paid members, when deciding how to share content.

My hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!

Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet connectivity fees) AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month. Every supporter is helping!

Again, thank you very, very much.

LIVING THE ROUTINE by Cindi Curtis. Hello Cindi. I think I'm preaching to the choir when I say routine is good. it provides a calmness, security and order, a peaceful sameness to your life. When a good routine is going, changes in the routine are better handled than if chaos reigns. It does "just make sense" that Michael would begin moving "his life, really", out there. I think he is ready for the next chapter in your lives to begin. We fans are trusting Jordan, just like you. But, boy, is curiosity going strong? Yes! Thank you for the devotional verse. Never heard of that version, but that's okay. I frequently learn something reading your posts. Thanks and enjoy your routine day.
