Welcome to March, to Sunday, and to my kitchen. Last week ended with the whole gang digging in and getting a lot of work done. To be honest, all of this feels like what I think life is supposed to be like.

I don’t want to get into a big “how it was” versus “how it is” discussion, but for me, the years between college and moving into this house were really just a shadow of what, deep down, I knew life should be. But I lived in fear of the panic attacks. And that fear—I’ve convinced myself—spawned my agoraphobia.

A little over a year ago, I started posting. I thought I could hide in my Colorado home and share living-green tips and Bible verses. The panics wouldn’t matter.

Now? I still enjoy solitude. Crowds still make me anxious. And panic attacks happen.

(Stats since moving to Memphis: Most panic attacks in one day: three. Most days between attacks: also three.)

I think I’ve stopped fearing them. And that…ladies and gentlemen…is growth.

Oh… 20 days until the wedding? Is anyone besides me counting down?

Jordan revealed the plan. I love it. Jordan also threatened to change it to something I’d hate if I tell! She’ll be around at some point to wag her finger at everyone insisting on knowing the plan ahead of time! I’ll leave that to her.

And…before I head out to church this morning, I’ll leave you with a Bible verse on fear—or rather, not fearing.

Joshua 1:9—“…Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NIV)
