STEADY AS SHE GOES by Cindi Curtis

Good morning! Happy Thursday to everyone finding this post.

I want to say thank you to everyone who commented on my last post. I will get back to them and reply as soon as time permits. I don’t want you to think I didn’t see them.

Things have been busy for me in a good, steady way. My project is going. I’m stopping short of saying it’s going well, though. I have identified some of the “idx” fields in some of the tables. They are used to connect data from one table to another.

Enough about that…

Today is the fifth. Wedding on the 21st. Math says I have just over two more weeks of being single! I am really excited.

This weekend, Michael will move more of his furniture here. More will follow the weekend before the wedding. The plan is that he’ll have his office set up before the wedding so when we get back from the honeymoon, he’ll be up and running.

I’ll say one more thing about the wedding. Jordan is almost as excited as I am. Almost.

I’ve tried to think back if I ever felt as connected to anyone as I do her. Obviously, not counting Michael. I had friends in high school before my anxiety ramped up to disorder level. I really don’t think any of them came close. Possibly because of our ages back then compared to now, but I’m really pleased.

I started off a little jealous, even suspicious of her. But not long after she joined in on the World of Warcraft fun, we started getting closer.

Oh, BTW, WoW dropped the new expansion, Midnight, this week. All three of us got together Monday night and finished the first chapter of the campaign! Big fun!

I’ll close out with something I read yesterday from Hosea.
