GOOD MORNING
By now, you can probably tell I’m in my stateroom aboard Savannah’s Charm. I’m in no real hurry to be anywhere soon. We’ll be out to sea most of today as we sail from Galveston to Port O’Connor.
We originally planned to arrive mid-afternoon today. There’s some scheduling conflict with our slip at the marina, so we’re going to slow down and find some safe, shallow-ish area near Freeport where we can drop anchor and pass a few hours.
Now we should arrive a little after sunset, but we’ll be fine. It’s not like we have anyone waiting on us!
I’ve had a few people say they aren’t tired of seeing life on the yacht yet. That’s good to know. I guess you can tell I’ve mixed things up with where I sit for the pictures.
What’s your favorite, if you can tell the difference? I’d be interested in your thoughts.
Meanwhile, I actually should get ready for the day. I know Jason has been at the helm for a few hours, so pretty soon, he’ll be ready for some breakfast. I’ll try to think of something fun to make for him!
Thanks for being here. It’s a great privilege to be able to share the journal with you.
See you soon!
SOAKING RAYS
The anchor is dropped and set, and we’re in eight feet of water, but not far away the depth is only around five—you can touch the bottom and not be over your head.
We spent some time swimming and playing there—all of us, but in turns. I’m up top now, just basking. Even off shore, the temperature is around 80°F and the wind is gentle. The waves are typical of calm Gulf waters.
Pretty much this is just a great time to play around in the water!
No complaints.
Not much more to tell, so I’ll wrap it up. I’ll be back tonight to check in at the close of the day. See you then.
GOOD NIGHT
I’m saying good night from the aft lounge. We’re not far from the marina, but again, it doesn’t matter when we get there, so there’s no rush. Essentially, we’ll tie up, connect to shore power, and call it a night.
Tomorrow, we will explore—and you’ll go with us. More on that later.
Before I close out for the day, I should share something with you. My writing agent contacted me to say he’d been approached about a possible ghostwriting arrangement. That’s on the table, and I hope it goes through. I love being paid to write fiction! I actually can get lost in the whole process, so if it works out, I’ll be very happy.
I know today’s posts have been short, but sometimes short is the right length. So with that, I’ll wrap up for the day with my wish for you.
May you find joy in all you do, gratitude in all you receive, and satisfaction in all you give.
Good night.
Be your best you!

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:
It is my belief that most of you who help with the costs are doing so because you want to support the production process and show your encouragement. I am honored and greatly moved.
I know that I share a LOT of content FREE TO ALL. I'd imagine that you understand why. The stories about giving back and helping seem like they shouldn't be exclusive. Certain plot moments need to be understood by anyone trying to to follow the stories.
With that in mind, I always consider you, the paid members, when deciding how to share content.
My hope is that reserving a few pictures and small sections of the post for you is a modest indication of gratitude!
Thank you very much for your help underwriting the cost of producing AGI Stories content. You can be sure that your paid membership is valued greatly! At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet connectivity fees) AGI Stories racks up expenses of just over $100 per month. Every supporter is helping!
Again, thank you very, very much.
