GOOD MORNING
Good morning to you from the Gulf! We just left Port O’Connor and are on our way to Corpus Christi. Thanks for being here to share the trip.
It’s roughly 60 nautical miles from Port O’Connor to Corpus Christi. We’re looking at around a 15-knot following wind, so nothing tricky about navigation.
Once Savannah’s Charm gets up to around 8 or 9 knots, the force of the wind will be about equal to the force of resistance from the water, so we’ll cruise at that speed.
But we’re in no big hurry, so it’s likely we’ll find a safe, shallow-ish area and drop anchor for lunch. We’ll probably whip out our laptops and try to do a little work organizing notes from Port O’Connor at that same time.

GALLEY AND HELM
It is possible that I have not shown the two most important parts of Savannah’s Charm: the helm and the galley. From the helm, the boat is controlled; from the galley, the food is prepared.
We do take turns in both. I was monitoring things at the helm earlier, but now I’m about to start lunch for everyone. It will be simple today—just cold sandwiches and deli meats. Chips optional… vegetable sticks available…
I said this morning we’d be sailing for about eight hours. But we might slow down or even stop. We’ll reach Corpus Christi tonight, then we’ll definitely spend Sunday there. Maybe, we’ll stay longer. That can be decided as we go.
And really, deciding as we go is something we do well. Some of our most popular series came when we suddenly changed directions and did something spontaneous. So, we’ll go with that for Monday. We’ll know by the end of day Sunday, of course.
With that, I’ll close this post. I’ve got a crew to feed, so I better get busy.
I’ll be back tonight, so see you then.
MY HUSBAND MICAH by Jasmine Bank
A whole lot has happened on this trip besides what you’ve already seen. Every day, Sasha, Clay, and Micah have been working on things with SwimFit.
I’m not going to try and explain it, but the big picture is that SwimFit has hired Micah to manage a small cut and sew factory that’s going to be on the east end of E Ocean Blvd in Los Fresnos—which is an independent community on the east side of Brownsville.
They secured the location and are hiring people to start in a few weeks. It’s very exciting.
Micah is taking this very seriously. Though the workers will be part owners in the factory—meaning, in a sense, they work for themselves—Micah will communicate to them what SwimFit wants made. He’ll help them meet orders. He’ll oversee production and facilitate whatever needs arise in the factory.
Sasha and me will handle the factory’s paperwork and payroll—all that sort of thing…
I just wanted to check in with a brief report. I’m so proud that Clay and Sasha wanted him to do this. I’m also sure he’ll be great!
That’s all for now. Next stop is Corpus Christi, and that won’t be too long from now.
Ailana will have a post later to close out the day.
GOOD NIGHT
Welcome to Corpus Christi! The day ended after smooth sailing with uneventful docking, so now we’re settling down to pass the night. Tomorrow we’ll go ashore.
I’d like to thank everyone for the encouraging comments about the wedding. It feels really great to have your support. Honestly, it’s difficult to express how much that means to me.
I guess we can say the countdown has begun. I do feel nervous. I don’t think that’s unexpected.
As I said before, I don’t think I have doubts about marrying Jason. My concerns are probably about the getting-married process. And that, I believe, is pretty normal.
Anyway, we’re here, docked, and ready to start a short visit to Corpus Christi. Tomorrow awaits! See you then.
May you recognize what really matters in your life and have the discipline to put those things first.
Good night.
Be your best you!

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you for helping support AGI Stories. At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet costs), expenses run just over $100 per month—so every supporter truly makes a difference.
As you know, I share a lot of content free to all, and I believe you understand why. Stories about giving back and helping shouldn’t be exclusive, and key moments need to be accessible for anyone following the stories.
With that in mind, I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.
My hope is that reserving a few photos and small portions of posts for you serves as a simple expression of gratitude.
I believe that most of you who help with the costs do so because you want to support the production process and show encouragement. I’m honored and truly grateful.
Again, thank you very much.
