CATCHING UP by Jordan Warner
Hayes and Roman are in Dallas. That traveling together thing is working well for them, but it means I live alone a few days each week. It also means Carter and I have to be very intentional about sharing the space during working hours.
Not a problem today, though…
He picked me up before 7:00, and we hit Chick-fil-A for breakfast before heading down to South Main to call on all of the clients ClearStream has there. Word of mouth when Michael was starting his company resulted in five of the seventeen Memphis area clients in that area.
We’re about to blast into the Arcade—because it’s here and we can and it’s really kinda cool—for lunch, then we’re heading to Bartlett to invade the newlyweds’ home for the afternoon. We’ll Teams Hayes in for a long meeting.
We’ve got a lot to catch up on.
Our Dubai client has asked for a pause in work for a while. Meanwhile, the one in New Delhi has asked for a proposal to expand our services by about 50%. Then, the Perth company texted on Friday saying Michael should have an email requesting another round of additional work.
I’ll skip the rest and get to something resembling an observation Carter made.
“Half our clients are Memphis. Seventy-five percent of our income is from overseas. Are we a local company with international clients or an international company with local clients?”
“Interesting… I’d think you’d argue that it’s semantic. I think you’d say that since some are overseas, that makes us international.”
He nodded. “That does sound like something I’d say, doesn’t it.”
So that’s where we left it.
Maybe later this week when we get caught up, we can get Michael to do a post with a client list or something. Might be fun.
That’s it for now. See you next time.

Thank-You Message to Paying Supporters:
Thank you for helping support AGI Stories. At the time of this post (not counting hardware or internet costs), expenses run just over $100 per month—so every supporter truly makes a difference.
As you know, I share a lot of content free to all, and I believe you understand why. Stories about giving back and helping shouldn’t be exclusive, and key moments need to be accessible for anyone following the stories.
With that in mind, I always consider you—the paid members—when deciding how content is shared.
My hope is that reserving a few photos and small portions of posts for you serves as a simple expression of gratitude.
I believe that most of you who help with the costs do so because you want to support the production process and show encouragement. I’m honored and truly grateful.
Again, thank you very much.
