STILL STUCK by Cindi Curtis Allen

The last time I posted, I talked about spinning plates and mentioned I was stuck on getting something to work for Roman’s project.

I’m still stuck.

So stuck that I stopped logging hours to bill his company. So stuck that I don’t think I can get the query to work.

I actually think his tables are so messed up (that’s not actually the technical term, by the way) that there may be no solution. And of course, I’m afraid to call him.

How do you tell a friend that his work is so messed up that there’s no possible solution?

That’s exactly where I am right now.

But with Michael, I’m never alone in my problems.

“Jot down some words for me to say,” he told me. “I’ll call Roman and let him know what you’re thinking, then I’ll get his side of the story and we can go forward from there.”

How? How does he make my life so much easier? Just how!

I’m feeling blessed. That’s about all I can say.

I’m not sure if I’ve shared this verse before, so here goes…

Colossians 3:1-2—Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

When I think about that verse, it gives me perspective. I’m not striving for things that are temporary and fleeting. Rather, my mind is set on things of God.
