On the third day of their honeymoon, Jason and Ailana continued to navigate Flying High north for just under six hours. A little after noon, they turned the bow south and started for home.

They spent the third night in about the same place they had spent their second night. The next day, the fourth day after saying “I do,” they slowed down to savor a few quiet minutes on the water.

They didn’t swim, but they sat with their feet in the ocean and their thoughts in the sky.

“We’re going to have a great life,” Jason said.

“I want it to be as easy as this, always. Maybe we’re trying to do too much?”

“We can adjust as we need to,” Jason replied. “We’ve got a lot of years ahead of us.”

“Once we get back… are you ready?” Ailana asked.

“With you as my wife, how could I not be? Let’s get going.”

They were retracing the outward run on their way back to Sea Ranch Marina, back to where the honeymoon ends and life ever after begins.
