MORE SUN—from 2026-07-10

Min checked the time. She had plenty of time to get home, clean up, and be ready for her date.

She decided she’d take a few minutes on the beach towel. She thought if she were lucky, the sound of the waves rolling onto the beach and the distant voices of other beachgoers might lull her into a peaceful doze.

LEAKY CUP—from 2026-07-10

Izzy noticed the coffee first as a warm spot against her blouse, then as a small brown stain spreading where the cup had leaked.

For one second, she just stood there in the store and stared down at it.

Of course.

She excused herself to the bathroom, stepped in front of the mirror, and unbuttoned the blouse so she could rinse the stained section in the sink without soaking the whole thing.

Then she paused.

She could let a leaking cup of coffee spoil her mood, or she could deal with it, dry the blouse as best she could, and keep being grateful for all the good things happening in her life.

The coffee had made a mess.

It did not get to own the day.

Most SPECIAL REQUESTS are inspired by ideas readers have shared, often as variations of moments, images, conversations, or character reactions from previous posts. They may include additional images, expanded story context, extra scenes, or a closer look at how a character responds to something in the storyline.
