Chapter 3.1.34: MORE DETAILS by Hannah Madison
I thought I was giving a pretty good update yesterday about what’s going on with the Pay It Forward Society and those of us at Crossroads who are part of it. I guess I mostly talked about how it is structured.
First of all, at Crossroads, there are some changes in the works. Since Izzy and Emma moved out, Addison invited me to move in with her. Addison and I haven’t been super close, but we definitely get along great.
So, I’m in the process of doing that.
That frees up the two-bedroom I shared with Emma. Chloe and Caleb are in the process of moving from Union Square to Crossroads. Addison—by the way, she manages the rentals for Tom Jenkins, in case you forgot—worked out for Liza and Chloe to move into the unit I was in with Emma instead of the micros.
Caleb will move into a micro apartment as planned.
With Pay It Forward back in business, the team is currently Addison, Merritt, Jacob, and me. Paul and Rebecca are still our team leaders.
Nick told Paul and Rebecca to rebuild the team.
I’ll add that I called Emma and Noah, but they said they feel at peace with their life in the Memphis area, including their jobs and Emma’s school.
I called Kent—Izzy was working—and he said they, too, feel like they’re in the right place.
Merritt told Paul, “Look… It’s obvious. We add Caleb, Aidan, Chloe, and Liza. The team is back to eight.”team is back to eight.”
Paul agreed and is now in the process of making that happen. If they all agree, of course.
But considering the plan is monthly missions in exchange for having rent covered and receiving mission stipends, it’s hard to say no. Consider this question:
Do you want to travel to a tropical destination for an all-expenses-paid weekend, do some good work, help some people, receive $500, and have your rent covered for a month? Oh… and health insurance is provided, too…
I’m pretty sure they’ll say yes.
