VISIT WITH FRIENDS by Emma Vale

Hey, everybody, it’s Friday, and Jordan and Carter came out to visit with me and Noah.

Right now, we’re between finishing dinner in the kitchen and heading out to the Sonic in Oakland for ice cream. It’s still pretty hot, but compared to Tuesday, we got a cold wave. It was almost 100 on Tuesday. It’s just 90 today.

‘Course that’s Fahrenheit.

I’ve said before that I’m really grateful that Merritt knew a few people down here and introduced us. Given that we live out a ways, and given our work schedules, it would have been tougher for us to just find nice people to be friends with. Having that head start was really great.

Anyway, I just wanted to check in and let you know the plan worked out, and we’ve had a good time so far.

Thanks for reading my story! See you next time!
