SLIGHT DELAY—Extra Content from 2026-09-01

Just as Hannah had conceded that she needed to finish dressing, Addison knocked lightly on the ajar door. Hannah picked up her coffee and turned as the door opened a little farther and Addison’s face appeared.

“Breakfast in the common room is just about ready.”

“I’m running late, I guess,” Hannah replied.

“Some days are like that, right?” Addison said before turning away from the door as Hannah finally started moving.

Hannah smiled to herself as she made her way to her room to finish dressing. She was pleased that she always started her mornings early enough that, even when little delays put her behind schedule, she could still be on time.

The image accompanying this story was inspired by a very specific request from a supporter.

Most SPECIAL REQUESTS are inspired by ideas readers have shared, often as variations of moments, images, conversations, or character reactions from previous posts. They may include additional images, expanded story context, extra scenes, or a closer look at how a character responds to something in the storyline. In some cases, they extend the core storyline, and if so, they are shared with all members.

Overall, SPECIAL REQUESTS should feel both visually rewarding and narratively relevant.
