Recently I re-watched Dante's Peak which I haven't seen in ages. It's hilarious!

I know the ratings are terrible (26% and 38%) but I always thought this movie was so much fun. It's incredibly dated and has NOT aged well but I thought it was a great re-watch! It's on Netflix if you're bored!

Dante's Peak (1997)

Disaster follows when a long-dormant volcano suddenly reawakens. When strange things begin to happen around the peaceful town of Dante's Peak, noted vulcanologist Harry Dalton is sent to investigate. Harry's investigation leads him to believe that a volcanic catastrophe is imminent, although his disbelieving superior refuses to warn the townsfolk.

I always liked this film, and Volcano, and Lake Placid. I obviously do not have a great taste when it comes to movies.

I love Dante's peak! I saw at the Cinema back in 97 and I have it on DVD. It is a great disaster movie. Pierce Brosnan is always good value and while some of the bit part acting is ropey it is still a enjoyable couple of hours..
