I like cheese when moving into a new flat.

Stuart Summers

Wow, I would be furious if someone just let themselves into my home! Your place looks lovely and spacious, I particularly like the exposed brickwork and flooring. I'm sure you'll have it sorted soon and will have a great time there.

Aaron Conway

Thank you for making a video even tho youre so busy! I really appreciate it! Your house is really nice! Sorry things with your move have been so stressful! Hope you can get everything sorted soon! Hope youre doing ok!

Malcolm Lawrence

It all looks lovely Alanna, and spacious too, and once the niggles are sorted and you can put your own stamp on it then I'm sure the stress levels will soon drop. Have you had time to begin to suss out the neighbourhood yet?

Gem

New place looks great, seems really big! Hopefully everything will get fixed/painted soon & you’ll be able to make it fully your own 🙂🎉

Peter Matthews

Obviously the painter is using the extra slow drying paint. Hope it's all sorted soon so you can settle and turn it into a home.

Stephen Parker

Hi, Alanna, very informative. Yay! The couch is alive and well. You are doing very well smiling and remaining so positive with all the frustrations and stress you've had. The flat looks great, love the kitchen and looking forward to cooking videos. Please let us know when you get your new box number so we can send a house warming gift.

Steve Mikre

It is a beautiful home. Soon you'll be able to look back at this experience and laugh. I just make sure slow motion painter man turns his key in when he's finally finished...

Marc Bernstein

May you live there in good health and much happiness

Adam Clark

Ah, the classic 'day rate' stretch! They get paid by the number of days the job takes so they streeeetch it out lol.

Will

Congratulations🎉 The new place looks really nice. Hopefully in a few weeks you'll look back at all this and laugh.

Holger Steinwedel

No separate hot and cold taps! Did you move abroad? 😉

Sarah Hogg

Thanks so much for sharing your new home with us and finding the time to record a video when everyone would have understood you taking a week off. I’m sure you’re going to have a beautiful home. Hope you have a relaxing weekend and stay healthy.

Mark Walsh

That's a great place you have now ..Now you can close the office door and relax in your home ..You do look very happy Alanna ..Have fun ..

Tony S

The flat looks great, love the exposed brickwork, it will act like a storage heater, absorbing warmth in summer and remaining warm in winter. Always the odd glitch in a newly renovated property and hopefully the LL will sort any problems promptly, the whole world will know if he doesn't, he/she won't want that! Have the neighbours introduced themselves yet, with a nice libation for you or a sumptuous cake? Have fun settling in and making it an home, stay safe, must fly and do an Edenbridge order, that's Tesco at the door as well as the "hooch" delivery, all kicking off at once. Bye.

Stephen Wadkin

Your new home looks wonderful, the kitchen especially so. I can't wait for whole new season of culinary disasters. 😉 Your painter is definitely working to good old " country time", i expect he'll be finished in another couple of weeks. Wishing you both every happiness.

Mark J

You have a really beautiful home and I'm certain it will be even more so when you have it all organised. Congratulations!

So glad you are settling in minus the growing pains. Hopefully they get sorted out soon for you and the butler and the painter dude is done soon. I hope he's not getting paid by the hour. Otherwise what a gorgeous place. Love the wood floors and exposed brick and windows but all the modern amenities. I have to say it still looks strange not to see the fridge, dishwasher etc but I am sure it will be a wonderful home once everything is unpacked and in it's place.

Brett Carruthers

Looks like a much better kitchen to film in than your last place. You have room to make a whole Sunday roast. I was slightly disappointed that when you were standing under the lamp shade with your head almost touching it, you didn't have your partner turn it on to do the 'I've got an idea' gag.

The Raven

As an American and based on your last place, I assumed that places there were tiny. Without closets, it's probably not as big as it seemed. But that place looked huge. If mom doesn't come, maybe Edenbridge can branch out into the B&B business. One of the perks could be the unknown how it will turn out until it's done meals made by the hostess. 😁

Lester Townsend

when you get fully set in, and next po, box set up then we can send you house warming gifts ..

Martin Sellman

Glad that you are impressed with the painter. He will be fitting your blinds. Probably one a day. I'm a painter for a building company, if I get upset I slow down. Fun fact, Hitler was a house painter. My guess is someone upset him 🤣😂🤣😂

David O

It took Michaelangelo five years to paint the Sistine Chapel. What do you want, a rush job?

Maria G.

The new place looks great! Look at those wooden floors. We moved in Nov, and having the house to ourselves after the move was great. So I understand the extra stress with painters and leaks. But it will be over soon, and then you can really enjoy the new place :)

Andy Ward

I had to move out of my flat for it to be renovated , all my belongings went into a shipping container on the garden . The builder asked me what i would like i.e bath or shower , paint colours . I came back and every thing was ignored , all my carpets were missing . the shipping container had a leak so all my stuff was eather damp or moldy . Oh the joys of living in a rented property . ;)

Looks pretty, though I'd be nervous about all that spotless porous brickwork next to the cooker, I think I'd want a glass splashback behind the cooker to protect it from spitting fat when frying. My uncle once had some decorators who were also lifeboat men, and would disappear to go on a call out quite often, they also liked to drink lots of tea and a good natter too. To them an age to complete the job.
