The “garou Knights” were from fans and Hiro ( author) added them, i always respected him for that, he loves his fans….never knew fairy tail own fans didn’t like that part. 😅 Also they’re important for the plot, imagine watching a shonen/ action anime and the MC just walk out without a fight, specially out of a doungen, and to give a paus to GMG, like 10 people going around in a city as big as san fransico, what are the changes they meet each other one after the other? Of course you guys won’t understand a lot of thing in first time watching, i just comment so you guys do, and get a full experience, otherwise what’s the point….

Also this arc is not GMG it’s a different arc called Eclipse gate, twin to GMG because of their
starting….they almost started together, but they’re diff arcs…..
It would still be considered the GMG arc. Even if it should be a different arc. If you look at the Wiki, fandom, articles, etc.
Hmm i understand why….. everything is happening together but according to manga or author i don’t remember which one, it’s a different one called Eclipse gate. Because GMG was only about games that ended…But that doesn’t mean i disagree with you.
Mashima never said this was a separate arc. The eclipse arc is the filler arc after this, that is were the confusion comes from
Mashima has said he can’t say anything in regards to a Dead Rock anime but has confirmed he has a special announcement for Dead Rock in his queue plus said he has an anime project in the works so fingers crossed for that
Yeah, i did some research after Giovanny said it, it was the manga release…..i read it when it was released and always thought them to be separate arcs…..half of the fandom mostly manga reders though them to be different….i don’t know how the anime studio peresent it, so I dont know what to make of it….. Some call it Eclipse, some dragon arc and some say it’s sub arc…. for me ( personally) they’re different because it has it’s own storyline and stuff….😊
