0:34 just to clarify, it's not that ppl didn't come back alive, it's that every single one trying to RECRUIT "islander" had to retreat/died/didn't even get there. Its kinda like Atlantis in that aspect xd 1:21 he is so adorable T`T I LOVE HIM SO MUCH T`T 2:11 not sure if I should cry or smile T^T 11:54 i would say yes, but like BOTH, not just one or the other XD 14:31 i don't know about "will ever see ever". i mean there IS Soul Land 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 xd 15:30 aaaaw are you touched? QAQ 16:15 aaaw! happy family time x3 16:32 out of context tho, that dialogue sounds rly sus! xd 16:56 it's def a "calm before the storm" episode, or like ya know "the calm moment before the new arc takes off" kind of thing 17:05 Bai ChenXiang - he calls her affectionally "XiangXiang" 18:51 Chinese stuff 101 Chinese marriage involves "bow away" grateful for the world, the earth and the gods, "bowing forward", which is bowing to each pair of parent, being grateful to your elders, and then bowing to each other, being grateful to each other (TLDR, but along those lines) Sometimes this is also done with engagements as form of utmost sincerity and respect 22:34 i love how they did this, with the camera and the transitions of dialogues.. it lowkey reminds me of the "domino effect" squence of tbhx XD very dynamic 22:53 we are only half way and both of them already died once c_c what WORSE could happen?! xd 23:16 unequal treatment of models tho! QAQ XiaoWu at least gets veils and stuff, Tang San only got his ponytail hair back xd, no new outfit or something QAQ! 24:29 that would be hilarious xd all this build up and she like "naw, its fine, just wanted to get dressed up" XD 25:23 china rly loves their spinning while kissing XD i always thought it was a c-drama thing because it mostly happens in xianxia while they are in the air or so, so its more dynamic.. but nope, its everywhere XD 27:51 SWORD DILF HYPE T^T 36:56 yep, in most video games the EXP needed is more with each level. FOR EXAMPLE, in Genshin Impact, us need the SAME amount of ressources from 80-90 as you did from 1-70 40:27 look at my Ginger Princes face T^T so adorable! T^T aaah i wanna pat him 40:34 in chinese stuff, bowing like that (so the forehead touches the ground, 3 times, is accepting someone as your master (for life) 41:02 if i am correct (and its not different words with the same spelling) Lan == blue Hao == limitless/clear/vast 42:14 Finally! ah! i love this thing! 43:19 i may be biased because im an ocean child, but DAMN AAAH! it makes me so excited for my beloved "Poseidon-Arc" such seeing this "thing" T^T 44:23 if i had to draw a parallel, yes, its def. similar 45:24 wait i just remembered.. considering how i called Haishin Island "like atlantis" but also the "tower of eternity" i called "like Atlantis".... (both for different reasons... yea know this stuff is both very similar! XD 50:09 well they were refering to that they will be gone training at least multiple years~, so far we only had minor time skips or montages except for the very first one before entering shrek school~ 51:15 aah the nostalgia, of the 2nd opening playing here T^T be prepared for me fangirling over every little things once they are at sea xd
