That is a PHENOMENAL thumbnail It's a great detail to remember from Leon, that Lucy doesn't actually know what Jellal looks like, good job Also Uranometria isn't Uranus meteor 😭 it's the name of a star atlas published in the 1600s, Mashima always does some pretty surface level research with most of the magics, although it's mostly European influence

Arianna

My freaking goat Lucy Heartfilia

Arianna

I love this episode because even though she’s evil and they’re enemies, angel does acknowledge Lucy’s power in the start! Lucy is so much stronger than everyone says and it sucks she’s always a butt of a joke about like being weak 🥲

Lukastace

I mean in-verse they rarely clown on Lucy for being weak, she usually brings herself down and even then it's only in the moments when she's standing toe to toe with Natsu, Gray, or Erza. Her self doubt is valid since unlike all the others she wasn't raised fighting, but that only makes her growth all the better. I wish Mashima gave her her flowers more often especially considering how strong she should be at certain points in the narrative

Arianna

good point!

Lukastace

spoilers Your pfp is my 3rd favourite character in the show!

Shanakar

This episode is always one I love re-watching. The use of Urano Metria (wrongly subbed as Urano Meteoria) is a key point for Lucy and her future growth in the series. Can't wait till you guys reach Tartaros arc!

3:54 mind out of the gutters, gentleMEN! XD 10:57 R-System is called liked that becaue R == Rakuen == heaven/paradise/eden, tower of heaven, but this is called nirvana which TECHNICALLY is the exact opposite, so at most it would be "N-System", its botht the same in english and japanese this time 12:15 this part right here, is my favorite part of this soundtrack, its a mazing listening to it on full blast T^T 24:42 she was ACTING on the love for Lyon in a positive way == being sad but now she is ACTING on the love for Lyon in a negative way == vengange/hatred etc at least that is how i see it 28:18 Deku anyone? xd 32:00 Ichiya! 36:26 aka they are a zodiac too! 37:28 so technically, almost all of the golden Zodiac keys are currently in one place :x 47:21 now lucy getting the GOLDEN APPLE into her head! great! XD 48:07 Tetrabillos (4 books) is a very well known philosphical text based on astrology 48:23 Urano Metria is the "Star Atlas" i think the subs are off c_c they just tried to match the phoentics, but did not do research what it actually is...

I really like that they gave Hibiki such a distinct role here, despite being introduced in that comedic trio. Blue Pegasus seems to be lacking in combat skills, but his archive magic is such a powerhouse in terms of utility, that he carries his guild contributions here.

Also, IMO Lucy is a big fish in an enormous pond : she is in a team with 2 Dragon Slayers, an Ice Maker who's been trained by a 10 Saints level wizard and a 10 Saints level Knight ; I would be a little self-conscious, too
