The big differences between soul land 1 and 2 are the passing : they rush the lore, training, team building for the fights. The tried to emulate BTTH with more flashy attacks. Sometimes, it's like It's directed by Michael Bay. The fights are never tactical like in SL1, mosty because we don't have the inner thought of the MC and his very high IQ and just the visual result of his strategy, resulting in a crushing defeat for the enemies. Also the MC is very close to the Solo Leveling MC in power scaling throught the story. A lot's of fights are solo fights or later big army fights (like the last part of SL1)
