I was waiting for your reaction to the end of this episode... that was... a lot.

One of the stark contrasts in this episode is between Bobby and the Martian soldiers from the Kittur. Bobbie was one of those soldiers once and she still has that loyalty element in her: "They are stripping our dead and you are ok with this?" to Alex. She tells Chrisjen that she doesn't have people skills and then proves herself wrong by talking down the female soldier and saving Alex. She essentially explains her own journey of trying to figure out who the real enemy is so she can do her true duty to Mars. I love the scene with the young male Martian when he sees Chrisjen: "what kind of a ship is this?!" The whole scene with Katoa "disassembling" the nurse is pretty awful and shocked me too the first time, now I just giggle in anticipation of every reactor seeing it (and hide my eyes! and I did anatomy back in the day!!) Still bleh. for me.
