This is a movie I promised my Twitch community I'd watch, so here we go! Next week I'll continue with Better Call Saul!

I loved this movie a lot. The sunrise sunset song has been stuck in my head for ages. The story in this movie is so confronting and hard but it's packaged in such a beautiful wholesome way. In a way this one felt more like an experience than a movie. In a sense I don't want to know how they made this, because I still like to believe this family was real. Do you get that? That sometimes the technical aspects could take away from the magic.

Thanks for recommending this one to me!

It's too bad you didn't watch this last year. You might have played "Sunrise, Sunset" at your wedding during the Father/Daughter dance.

Something about the performance of Fruma Sarah, the butcher's late wife in the dream sequence, kept reminding me of Helena Bonham Carter/Bellatrix Lestrange. Same manic energy.
