Aaaaand... we're entering a new Marvel chapter in my journey!

I really enjoyed these type of characters. The fact that they are all born with unique mutations opens up soooo many possibilities for future movies aswell.

I love to see how everyone deals differently with the question of how humans and mutants should live together. Especially Xavier and Magneto! Their dynamic is really fun to watch :).

Which mutation would you love or hate to have? :D

Finally back from my Businesstrip. I will try to give you a brief overview of the X-Men Franchise and the differences to the Avengers Franchise. First, like some other comments already said Disney got the X-Men Franchise back through their aquisition of 20th Century Fox who was part of Sony before. The main difference is that in X-Men Humans are born with mutation while in the Avenger Franchise Humans are either powerless (Iron Man, Black Widow etc.) or get powers (like Captain America) and then we have outsiders like Thor. Another twist is that the X-Men and the Avengers are not the biggest Fans of each other. In different words the X-Men are a team of mutant superheroes who were born with special abilities and used their powers to protect the world from evil. The Avengers are a team of superheroes who use their unique powers and skills to defeat their enemies and protect the planet. You have seen Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange 2 while they where on Earth 838. He was part of the Illuminati Council. This was one of the first acknowledgments in the MCU that Mutants will be a part of the MCU in the future. Although we already knew that Marvel Studios had planned a Trilogy which hinted to the X-Men coming to the MCU. Other Examples for Mutants (X-Men) are now a part of the MCU are Ms.Marvel or Namor (Black Panther 2). Last but not least you saw the X-Men version of Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) in Wandavision. How or what exactly broad Mutants into the Avenger Universe is not clear, although there are some theories. There are a lot of cool Characters in the X-Men Universe and the Franchise has some of the best Superhero Movies to this day imho but also some of the worst. It has a more mature approach and is darker and more grittier imho compared to the Avengers Franchise. Nevertheless im sure you will love it being a part of the MCU and their different Characters and dynamics. The Movie had a pretty stacked cast for its time. Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, who is not only a famous Hollywood Actor but also very famous for his Shakespeare performances, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, Anna Paquin and Rebecca Romjin. Yes, Magneto is Ian McKellen aka Gandalf. Professor Charles Xavier is Patrick Stewart who also plays Captain Picard in Star Trek: The next Generation and the later Star Trek Movies. Hugh Jackman played in Prestige which you reacted to. One last fun fact, the Actor who played Toad also played Darth Maul.

I love this movie more now than when I was a teenager when the movie came out. I still liked it back then, but just somehow in a retrospect, I see just how great this movie was. The action and the graphics. I think the development of a X Men movie started all the way back in the 80's, but it was put on pause. It was the X-Men animated series in the 90's that pushed to get a movie made. I may have mentioned this before that Keanu Reeves was blacklist by 20th Century Fox for ten years in the late 90s because he turned down Speed 2 because he didn't like the script and Speed 2 was a total embarrassing flop. Because of that, some feel that led to Keanu Reeves being in The Matrix, but some also felt that Keanu Reeves would have played Wolverine had he wasn't blacklisted. 20th Century Fox had made a lot of mistakes with different Marvel products as you may see later on. They just couldn't keep the momentum going.

You missed Stan. But as always great reaction. I look forward to watch X2 with you later today.
