Hello hello, I’m here bearing 17 more pages of comic! I'm realizing this has breached 31 pages in total now, goodness.

EDIT: with colour now, please enjoy! :P

I definitely had a blast drawing this one, J in particular with her absolute stank face. She might need that vacation. Finally got to the good bit where Tessa and J interact too, so I’m sure you know I'm giddy over that. There is a good 8-10 pages left to wrap this comic up and then we’ll head over to the reboot comic.

I’ll be working a little catchup on last months illustration request and sketch requests this week!

The environmental storytelling is amazing. The Popups in J’s visor, J’s tail position when Tessa’s nearby, Tessa’s offhand comment about her (Completely Valid) Mommy issues Fantastic ☺️

The details in this are so good, like that one about J systems recognising Tessa (cyn's body) as a prior threat and recommending immediate egress... But also J What are you saying? This one is a Nepo baby but the the girl that grew up in a billionaires mansion with servants available to cater to her every need (be her stand ins for the loving family she lacked mainly) isn't?

YEAH LMAO, especially on earth, with Tessa she didnt care. but J really has it out for her here, considering she thinks its might be the Solver messing with everyone. she sees it as another way it squeezed into the ranks if you will. (She’d probably be impressed otherwise lol) J is not above being a hypocrite

Love the detail of J's frustration with a job not getting done actually let her override Authority Compliance dot exe! Good for her. I bet she doesn't even realize how much she's pushing back on her own programming. Her calling Tessa a nepotism baby made me lose it, excellent way to break the tension for a moment, show that J is now forced to acknowledge where she places Tessa, and make the conversation flow. You're an excellent and efficient storyteller.

YES im so glad that read! girl is on a TIGHT schedule, and this is going to ruin her plans -everyones plans- so she pushes through it. shes fighting herself always, I think finally making nice with Uzi would heal her a bit lol. and thank you! im so glad!

Ah! oh man I LOVE all of the indicators that J gets from her visor, it's such an effective way to convey exactly what our audience perspective is. Also, they help so much in establishing mood and J's internal thoughts without requiring exposition or narration. It just pairs so well with your dynamic poses, facial expressions and excellent dialogue that I find it super compelling. Every scene with J is going to be a flurry of information that puts you right into her head, it's excellent!

There’s so much love put into this and the detail is insane. Even the background characters have their own unique design and makes me want to learn more about them. You have truly cooked!

aww thank you!! Yeah I keep thinking about them being robots and what about that would differ from a regular human/WD conversation. particularly with J who I feel is better at not showing her hand/hides more things. thank you!! C:

you're so right, it makes all the conversation so much more compelling because we get all this additional context

oh yeah it's a challenge to do a comic from the perspective of a character who hides away all of her feelings without internal narration giving the reader the info they need. but this is an excellent means of giving that info while preserving one of her main character traits!
