Please report them to community chats on either Patreon or Discord.

Please do not share this beta ROM publicly. Once all bugs are squashed and the game runs without issue, I will release a final version V3 publicly for free.

To allow the game to load, you NEED to copy the save file to the save folder on your emulator or Everdrive. This is to avoid more unauthorized cartridge production sales

- For Everdrive, make sure the ROM and save file are named the same, besides the file extension.

- For PJ64, if your setting for (Options/Configuration/General Settings/Advanced/"Store game saves in separate folders") is off, place your .fla file in the root of the save folder. If your setting is on, it would be best to allow the game to create its own save folder by loading the game, closing the emulator and replacing the .fla it creates with the one provided, then start the emulator back up.

- Simpiro2008:

M64 FZ Pro for Android

The folder doesn't show straight away. After loading the rom without the save file, you'll get the error message. Then, exit the game and under tools, you have to export the game data and the folders will be created.

You then replace the save file with the PJ64.fla and import the game data back into the emulator.

- Rey:

|Basic Delta instructions: (iPhone)

Open the patched ROM then, via Files app on iPhone, go to On My iPhone then Delta/Cores/Mupen64Plus/Saves and look at what the .fla is called

Likely something like 'WWF No Mercy Plus (unknown rom).fla" - rename the .fla from the download's "Save file\PJ64" directory to match, paste and replace, done.

- Rey:

Basic RetroArch instructions:

Copy save file from the download's "Save file\Retro Arch" folder to "RetroArch/saves/youremulatorofchoice" renamed to your match your ROM name.

For example, if your ROM is named WWFNMP.z64 and you're using ParaLLEI N64, rename the save file to WWFNMP.srm and copy to "RetroArch/saves/ParaLLEI N64/" folder

Will future updates not require .fla or .SRM files anymore ? It will solve lot of issues.

Retro Randy Price

No, I'll keep this because removing it will allow the issue of others flashing, selling and profiting off of my projects.

Ralph

I only asked for steam deck users. We don't know how to run the ROM hack

Hawkes789

If you think I'm just gonna download every beta of this for the minor upgrade... then you're absolutely right ✅️

Retro Randy Price

I feel like this update is pretty significant. Tons of fixes. Just not game breaking ones.

Hawkes789

Ha! Thanks dude. Looking forward to trying this one out shortly

Retro Randy Price

Does the M64 or RetroArch instructions not work? I don’t own a steam deck.

Nick T

Thank you for your excellent work, this is stuff I literally dreamed about as a kid!

R R

Can you upload the srm file for retroarch on this second beta? It wasn't in the upload!

Sean Dwyer

This is great! For the Sweet Chin Music standing strike, does it work now? I was a little confused by what "Sweet Chin Music Strike needs to always know opp down" meant. Thanks!

Retro Randy Price

Yeah it works now. It was supposed to say “knock” lol my bad. Fixed the typo.

Retro Randy Price

Did it work for you before? I thought it wasn’t working for people and instead the instructions included is what helped. Is that not the case?

Jesse Levine

I personally don't know if it was working on Beta 1 or not but the instructions in Beta 2 specifically indicate to move the "Retro Arch" folder that is supposed to be located in the "Save file" folder of your zip, but that "Retro Arch" folder, along with the needed .srm file, are not anywhere in the upload.

R R

For the first beta, the save didn't work. This 2nd upload didn't include the latest srm save file. I was able to convert the new fla save to srm and that did the trick.

Caleb Baudoin

I installed the patch, I got the different menu. I don't seem to have any of the moves or anything isn't the smackdown mall supposed to be completely unlocked? I'm on Project 64

Rodney Wingate

Ralph I had to covert the Project 64 fla save into a srm save and it worked fine.

Ralph

On the steam deck ? Where did you put the file ?

Caleb Baudoin

I apologize, I was using the wrong patch. All good now.

Miguel Garcia

I just downloaded Beta 2. Man, the Factions aspect is starting to look really good! Now I can have Albert & Droz come out together as a team again.

sg 85

I'm unable to edit wrestlers. i can change all his stuff just fine but once i leave SD mall and come back those changes are gone. it was working fine last time i played which is weird. it says something like "unknown flashram dna write" in the emulator. aside from that this is very fun. i love the tables

Retro Randy Price

There seems to be an issue with the save data. Still working on a fix.

Ricky Spanish

Loving it! Keep up the top tier work broski!

Carl Charlbury

Would you like us to refrain from streaming these builds?

Retro Randy Price

You can stream. Just please make it clear that it’s a beta and to expect issues. And don’t share the rom itself. I don’t mind posts about it.

Carl Charlbury

Can confirm this works. Tested with Parallel Launcher as well and it works!

Ralph

Tell us how to run it on the steam deck

Nick

I'm having trouble applying the patch with deltapatcher, so I have two quick questions. Is Hogan's WCW/nwo revenge lightning tights in game and any chance to add Savage's rope guillotine?

Ralph

Thank you for the rom hack. It works fine on Windows.

Eythyn

Hey Randy! Love the work mate. Haven't had a chance to play it all yet. I apologise for this but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but when I try and do the whole process for my Everdrive x7 it's just not working. I basically put the Everdrive on and I get a red to black screen. Is there something I'm possibly doing wrong here or am I not loading or saving the stuff properly? Hope to hear back from you soon. I'm terrible with this stuff and I'm more of a visual learner. Is there a video tutorial that shows you how to do it all? Thanks Randy.

Ralph

do you have srm file to upload? retroarch purposes

Ralph

Can you share that SRM file ?

jml7206

awesome stuff man. this is so much fun to play, almost like playing a new aki game in the year 2024.

Andrew Hutchinson

Has anyone managed to get this working on RetroArch? I'm a bit of a newbie and struggling. I'm getting the warning about the .fla file.

DJ Dana G

i cant get it to work either

Andrew Hutchinson

I've gone back and managed to get V2.1 to work beautifully, but just can't get V3 to work at all, either .1 or .2

DJ Dana G

ParaLLEI N64 doesnt work with retroarch only mupen64plus

DJ Dana G

did u get the first beta to work with retroarch ???

DJ Dana G

so u able the run it on retroarch ????

DJ Dana G

is there anyway to get this to work on retroarch it load up but i get an fla save file is invalidated work on project 64 or everdrive or higher i only use retroarch which has the Mupen64 Plus eMULATOR

DJ Dana G

damn same here fam smh

Retro Randy Price

M64 instructions are listed in the read me. Not sure about the RA stuff.

DJ Dana G

got it to work on retroarch lets gooo !!!! thank u G!

DJ Dana G

first i did the patch the no mercy file into z64 than i download project 64 on my pc uploaded the game on there took the WWF No Mercy + V3-B2.fla converted it into WWF No Mercy + V3-B2.srm i uploaded both to the save file in retroarch and it worked on my xbox series s in dev mode

Andrew Hutchinson

Fantastic, I'll give it a go tonight. Thanks, I appreciate it!

Andrew Hutchinson

Quick question, how did you convert the .fla to the .srm?

Gogeta007yBro

This is great. Works excellent on emulator, even using Parallel plugins. On real console, using the Summercart64 works most of the time fine, it crashes a lot when there's more than two wrestlers involved in a match and has really long loading times, but almost always launches and the gameplay isn't laggier than vanilla WWF No Mercy.

DJ Dana G

the game is awesome thank u fam!

DJ Dana G

i cant wait to the final game comes out !!

Brett Gray

Thanks for your efforts. To be able to play this masterpiece on original hardware is phenomenal

Nick Hall

Loving the stuff I've seen on this project! Question, I know you've added in gear for Goldust in the create a wrestler mode, are there any other wrestlers gear/textures added in? I'd love to have the Wrestlemania 2000 characters creatable. Meat, Blue Meanie, Michael Hayes and Jeff Jarrett.

Retro Randy Price

Many have been added but not all. I think the next beta will satisfy.

Joey

One thing noteworthy, the same save file for PJ64 will work on the misterFPGA as well.

Joey

One tidbit/request: Is there a way to import Raven's regular taunts from Revenge? I like it better where he steps forward and raises his arms...also an update to his smackdown just bring it theme music fits the era better imo. Loving all the great work put into this project!

Retro Randy Price

The theme that’s there is accurate for late 2000. He’ll have the JBI theme for Backlash.
