I'm having an issue with Born to Be Wired preview 6 on M64 Plus FZ - it just loads a black screen, and there's no D-Pad on the overlay. It's on an Android phone, that is running NM Plus latest version, as well as WCW Saturday Night, Salvo, WMX, AJPW roms without issue - just the ECW one I'm having a problem with. Has anyone come across this? Or can someone send me a patched copy? I have GlideN64-Accurate mode set. Thank you *edit* I can get the D-Pad showing now, but still a black screen

I prefer not sharing patched roms for potential legal purposes. It sounds like you might have patched to a rom that was already tinkered with. I'd suggest ensuring that your emu isn't loading an old save file. If problems still persist, I'd go download the 1.0 no mercy rom from vimms lair and patch again. This typically solves the issue you're describing.

You don't install it on an emulator. Please download and read the read me in the root of the folder and the read me in the patch folder.

same issue man, I've read and re-read everything included and i can't get it to load on pj64 or retroarch without an error message. Update: My rom was the wrong format and the answer did in fact lie in the read me.

Thanks Randy for your enthusiastic work... Its amazing what you create here... Can't wait for the ECW final stuff :-). In the mean time I enjoy the No Mercy Plus v3 .

Sorry if this has been reported already, but on the ECW World Championship storyline, after you've already faced Paul E. in a Steel Cage match, the next week when Paul E is trying to provoke you in the back, your character makes reference to waiting to face him in the Steel Cage "later tonight". Idk if the sequence went out of order for me or what. Playing on v7.1

Tried putting on everdrive and got error code 12, file too large. Is there anything to fix this or will it only be able to play on project 64?

The read me mentions compatibility. If you want to play on console, you need a summercart64. The other option is an emulator. It’s purposely too large for regular carts (including ED) so that repro sellers can’t profit off of the mod.

This is a long shot but do you have/know where you found The Great Sasuke's theme in Born to be wired? I've spent 2 hours looking for it on YouTube, websites and I've even translated what I'm looking for into Japanese and to no luck I know the song is called Radio★One by BORDER (at least I think) and there's no mention of it anywhere online. All I wanna do is listen to the full song with good quality please help me!

Randy quick question. First off bad ass game. Thank you. Im running it on a SC64 and when I play championship mode it doesnt save progress even when I hit save. What can I do? Thanks again

Have you checked the read me file? SC needs firmware 2.18.0 to save my mods.

No can do. It’s really easy if you download and read the two read me files. There’s even a tutorial video at the bottom of this post.

Now that the Everdrive 64 X7 can load ROMS beyond 64Mb (as of the latest 5/18/26 Krikzz update), will you be adding instructions on how to make this playable on the Everdrive 64 X7? Can't wait to give it a try.

Just patch like normal and put it on the ED. If you're playing Backlash, use the LITE version. That's it.

Is there any way to save ecw born to be wired I can’t save anything on it ?

Are you playing on summercart? The read me included explains that you need Firmware 2.18.0 to save. I have a newer version working on the latest SC64 FW but haven't released yet. I still need to address a few things before release. I don't know of the game having saving issues on anything else.

I still need to release updates to ECW and NM+ for the latest SC FW to save. This might be in the next month.

Amazing work. I love the mod. I wonder if it's possible to tweak Championship mode dialogue at all? That'd be cool given how much NM I've played.

It's possible. Not sure which game you're referring to. NM+ is the same as default. ECW BTBW has minor adjustments to make it relevant to ECW. Backlash has a completely custom season mode but still in the works.

My bad. I was referring to ECW BTBW. I did notice the adjustments and I'm looking forward to seeing that Backlash season mode that's going to be awesome. I really love everything about these, thank you so much for your hard work, I'm enjoying them tremendously. I'm playing both NM+ and ECW BTBW every day.

Possibly in the future, it would include all the updates to the my mods after it. I can't say when exactly. There's still a lot to do on my current project.

Sorry, I don't do this as a service. It's very easy to do. If you want the easiest route, get a KAICO summercart64 on Amazon. These usually come with an SD card and already set up. Then you just need to add the ROM your self.
