This will be a special ground grapple for those who have a Running Attack Special. Tailored for the Spear/Gore. The player will manually choose what attack to perform as it ends in a running state.

Huuge fan of Rhyno back in early 2000s so really pleased to see this, without sounding simple I assume you tap B just before impact to peform the gore?

Speaking of the spear/gore...I dont recall there being another counter to it other than the guard-guillotine choke? If so... ...how about a sprawl perhaps? Iirc, there's one for an atomic drop/double leg pickup - P2 sprawls then double ax handles to the back. So now maybe for a lucha style counter to the spear - maybe a jump or flip evade (a jumping splits for RVD of course), for submission style - maybe a standing guillotine, or a sprawl and back-take counter, which can then give P1 a chance to re-counter with the familiar, in game, standing-sit-out or reversal kimura/Fujiwara lock! Overall, I think if the repetitive things we saw from NM (such as that guillotine-only counter) were updated, it'd esp signify the change that Backlash brings...unless I'm remembering wrong and there were diff spear counters ;)

I have a question. I know you intend on using No Mercy as a base for your projects and for others to mod and build from. I would assume you wouldn't mind if ideas such as this are shared with other projects as well. I think this is a better explanation and example of something I suggested to a project.

I follow another project thats based off No Mercy. I was wondering if you would take issue with me sharing this idea as something they could implement as well. All in the name of getting more great wrestling content out in the world in the AKI style.
