Morning all, I've felt bad neglecting Patreon for so long...but here we are, back again with a new Podcast style thing every Monday, called "Biffas Monday Waffle & Tea" for want of a better name. What do you think? It's around 10 mins long, I waffle a lot, so just long enough for a quick cuppa.

I cover Patreon, YouTube, what's coming up this week, poll results, books and tea.

Constructive feedback welcome plus any topics you'd like me to cover next Monday.

Enjoy :-)

This is cool. I didn't comment on the videos but area 3 is probably the best place to build next in New Tealand. That industry area needs workers! 😉 Like this idea. Thanks Biffa.

Thanks Timothy, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the area vote too :-)

Sally

Can't believe you forgot to bring a mug of tea to your own 'waffle and tea-cast'! Really enjoying the vanilla series, as I play on Xbox and PC. Please keep going with these podcasts. 10 mins is perfect to listen to during morning elevenses, as my brain tries to switch from weekend gaming to weekday working.

Hi Biffa, Completely understand keeping your personal life secret. Like the Waffle and Tea idea. The choice of the new area was the most sensible choice. Make sure you don't burn yourself out, quality over quantity! The last 18 months has taught me happiness is much more important than money. Loved the Red Bull challenges, would like to see more of that if that is possible. I need to say that you (and other youtubers) have helped me get through the last 18 months and I would like to say thank you for that. I know its not much that my tier is, but I hope it buys you some Yorkshire Tea, (Gold, Hard Water or normal)! Oh and you're also responsible for me buying a gaming laptop this month OH really appreciates that lol Thanks Biffa take care and look forward to more content soon :-)

Thanks Sally. I know, rookie mistake lol. Was rushing in from dropping off my lad and been all discombobulated after last week. Thanks for the feedback on the vanilla series too :-)

Hi Paul, you're most welcome and I'm glad I can help and any support is very much valued, thank you. I always keep burnout in mind and my weekends & evenings are always family time, plus I tend to finish work a tad earlier when the kids are back from school to do stuff with them. If ever I need a break I take it, no point forcing things when you don't have to, especially when you're trying to be creative! Thanks again :-)

What a great idea this is! A lot of people don't realize how much work goes into making a YouTube video especially with yours as you make it look soo easy. I have been enjoying your content for a couple of years now and you continue to to improve and expand which is brilliant! I have always loved your 'Fix My City' the best but found myself really enjoying your vanilla build. I forget what vanilla is like these days!

Atilla

A nice treat on a monday sounds like just what I need to get the week rolling. Glad to hear you and the family are doing well. In my head your boys are still those two little lads who occasionally played minecraft with their dad, but being as you need more space, I bet they have grown a lot since then! Look forward to more of the same!

Loki

Love the idea biffa, just don't overload yourself by adding this on. Sad to hear your looking at moving after a few years with your office, still remember when you did the reveal.

Zennor

Hiya Biffa. I really enjoyed this and I think it's a great idea. I always look forward to your content and it's become part of my routine. I originally come from London so your various 'sayings' never fail to put a smile on my face. I hope you are keeping yourself as well as you can. Thank you.

Biffa Plays

No overloading, don't worry. Yeah I love the office but we need space..which will mean a new office if we ever do move. Will be interesting to see what form that takes! :-)

Biffa Plays

Thanks Atilla, yeah they've grown! I've asked them not to, but they don't listen :-)

Biffa Plays

Thank you Gareth. Yeah, what with all the procrastinating...I mean...working hard behind the scenes some videos take many, many hours :P

RoadDietsRule

Loving the Monday morning check-in. Also, as a professional transportation planner in the US, I highly endorse both of the Strong Towns books.

Yabbie

Appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us in this manner. Your content is such high quality. Families are always the most important thing and moving house can be a nightmare lol. Loving both the vanilla and modded maps. Don't forget to get us other games on your other channel ;)

Greengirl

Thank you Biffa, i love listening to you and you always put a smile on my face. P.s. i never usually comment, this one took about 15min as i have dyslexia (auto spell is amazing) but i have watched almost everything you have made including when you played minecraft. Thank you again 😃🇦🇺

While podcasts are not my cup of tea, really appreciate your desire to keep us all involved. Speaking only for myself here: totally not required. If you want to share these, great! If you only want to churn out marvelous C:S videos, that’s more than enough for me. Whatever you decide, keep plenty of time available for family, friends and your own well-being. Thanks for making so much great content!

Biffa Plays

Thanks RDR. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into them :-)

Biffa Plays

Thanks Yabbie. When other games come up that I think I can play plus people will watch, I shall :-)

Biffa Plays

Thanks Debbie and thanks for the effort to comment too, I really appreciate it :-)

Biffa Plays

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the feedback and glad you're still enjoying the C:S stuff :-)

David Kalisch

I love that you want to give more to your Patrons, but speaking for myself supporting you here was just a way to support you directly. Thank you for your content and the hours of entertainment you create.

Toyzr

Thank you for the update Biffa. I really appreciate your videos and also enjoyed listening to todays podcast. I would definitely listen to it, if you decide to continue it. However, I can say for me that I support you here (though it's only a small contribution) b/c I enjoy your videos and want to give something back for the hours of entertainment you have already given to me. I am content with watching your videos and don't expect you to give me/us any special attention on here. Thank you!

Biffa Plays

Thank you Toyzr I appreciate that, I really enjoyed making just a little podcast and am happy if people want to listen too :-)

Love the content and, whilst I love this chat idea, I back you because I really enjoy your youtube content. It would be great if you can keep this on patreon as whilst I have discord, I rarely visit. Mind you, I am impressed you did this without tea.

Larry Edwards (Larry Skylines)

I enjoyed it Biffa, hopefully you'll continue with some more. Not sure what you have planned for these but how about a Q&A?

Gavin Wilkes

I love the weekly chat idea. Please keep them coming. Your amazing videos are polished and relatable (as they have to be for any good YouTuber), and these chats feel more like a talk with a friend over a cuppa, more personal and stream-of-thought. I'm glad I support as I can, and I'm even thinking of upping my membership level, as family finances have improved (even with recently moving into a larger house, as you're planning to do). Please keep up those marvelous videos. I'm all the time gleaning new ideas to incorporate into my current city. All the best to you and your family. 😊

Sean Anglin

I like this, absolutely love it!!! Yes please keep doing this.

Biffa Plays

Thanks Gavin, so glad you're enjoying my stuff & all the best with the city too :-)

Thomas Watts

Hi Biffa - Love to hear your voice! Wondering if you might take a go at TimberBorn? Beaver City Builder in the line of Banished!

Biffa Plays

Thanks Thomas. I've actually got a very good Banished style game coming up Friday 👍

Chahk Noir

Moving is a nightmare. We are planning to in about a year, and I'm already starting to stress about it.
