Question for future episode: How to you juggle keyboard shortcuts when you have lots of mods installed? Do you print out a list?

PimPom

Hmmm...for the Japan area, maybe a play on only being able to get (Matcha) Green Tea there. As that is the most consumed tea in Japan.

PimPom

And I started playing Cities Skylines because of your videos! You made it look like a fun and interesting building game.

Yabbie

Board games are the best. Lol I have so many expansions we have yet to play. I will search out the settlement survival video. Youtube didn't tell me it was there. Sakura Lane has a nice ring to it. Love the idea of historical stories for regions in the cities. Sounds like your quality of life has improved. Glad the editor is helping you. Noticed the small visual effects they added. Nice feel.

Hey Biffa! Am loving these little segments. Your video editor is great, brings another level to your vids. Quick question - What is the criteria for you to do a fix your city? I know you have to fill out the form and send it in as I did it (or tried to lol) a couple of years ago when I first started playing. I'm another person who started playing CS because of your videos, it's my favourite game right now. Thank you for all of the great content and have a great week! :)

Just going to throw in some controversy... I'm here with coffee and a choc hobnob.

Collin M

'Japanification' instead of 'Japanisation'.

Happy to see the Strategy channel might come back. I do like strategy games all together and I miss catching those episodes, even if it's not as frequent as your main. I'd love to see you play newer games like Timberborn and Citystate which have also been pulling in a lot of views lately. Will you ever do a series where you unlock all of the buildings or finish all of the achievements? Anyway, thanks for the new podcast!

Good morning from Arkansas! Interesting to get a small glimpse into what your days look like. :) Glad to hear of another Catan player, though I haven't had a chance to play in ages. You also mentioned Carcassonne. Are there any other board games you enjoy playing, either with family or friends (or both)? Also (and I know this may be looking a bit far into the future), have you given any thought to what may you might use for your next modded build? I know New Tealand still has plenty of life left, but I'd be shocked if you weren't keeping one eye on the map side of the workshop for ideas (or getting some from BonBonB's reviews). Still loving this podcast. Perfect way to start a Monday. :) Cheers to you and your family. :)

Hi Biffa, love your vids! Entertaining and enlightening for sure, and this is a fun addition! My two cents here since you mentioned overall view count dropping. Is it oversaturation? Long videos every day are a bit harder to keep up with as a fan, although I do like watching. Just a thought from someone who knows nothing about youtube. Thanks for all of your hard work, your vernacular always makes me laugh and I know this game and the community must bring you joy :-)

A name for the Japanese styled area, anything starting with Jap is automatically going to sound bad, however Dragon Jasmin Way sounds like a splendid name for the road through it.

I had a question about mass transit. How do you raise the car trips saved percentage (not sure exactly what it’s called)? I didn’t even realize this was a thing until you mentioned it.

Larry Edwards (Larry Skylines)

For the Modern Japan section you created, I would suggest you simply call it Japantown. I'm not sure about European cities but many cities in the US will have sections named after the immigrants who settled there. Many cities have a Chinatown and Japantown within them. So your thumbnail could be something like Building Japantown

Fabster

Love the videos. I abandoned my new tealand build. Got up to about 80,000 population. The city crashed and went bankrupt. Not sure what happened there. My snow town (un-modded like yours) is going great. Really enjoying playing along with your videos. Are you "Lord of Catan"?

Larry Edwards (Larry Skylines)

I know you prefer the city builders and strategy type games - do you play other types of games and would you consider doing another game outside of your comfort zone?

Biffa Plays

Hi Gareth, filling in the form then patience 😋 I haven't done a fix your city for a while but will do soon. 👍

Biffa Plays

We shall see! Citystate wasn't really something there's much of an audience for, I did try it though. Timberborn looks great. I've had a few series where I've unlocked and built everything 👍😁

b.evil.c

How about calling it 'Building a Taste of the Orient'. Also loving the videos and especially this new podcast. I also have my Tea in hand as I listen.

After that Settlement Survival video I became curious about how you choose non-CS games to feature on your channel. Is it something that catches your eye on Steam/Epic/Origin/etc.? Do developers reach out to you to sponsor an episode? Related to that, do you take suggestions on new games to check out?

Yabbie

I hope you do a Tmberborn series Biffa. Some of the ones others are doing look so much fun. I am sure your followers would love it.

Biffa Plays

Yes and no. YT is a delicate balance that shifts with the blowing of the wind. New games come out that take attention away, there are 1000's of videos released hourly, it's a whole thing. Longer videos actually do better on my channel as the watch time goes up! Thanks for watching :-)

Biffa Plays

Not sure I'm that good at Catan yet! :-)

Gareth Davies

I do love a fix my city, you're soo funny when it gets a bit tough! When i've finished with it i'd love for you to have a go at it. Oh and your discord community is excellent as well! Any problems and there is someone there to help!

Hello Biffa, i didnt read true all comments so i am justing going to ask you straight. Have you ever considered to go live stream a couple of days or hours a week? i love to interact with streamers and love their tought about games and what they are doing in the game. Second: your channel is called biffa plays indie games, but you dont play that much indie games, unless CS is a indie game offcourse. i would watch every review or gameplay video because i like you as a content creator overall and not only for CS. Thanks for all the content and video's!

Biffa Plays

Hi, I don't have time for streaming, but I have been known to do one once in a while. Cities Skylines was (is?) an Indie game, the term is pretty loose to be honest. I'm not changing my channel name to fit a game I'm playing, no point really, Plus I do drop in the odd other game I think my audience will enjoy from time to time :-)

Stimpy U Eediot

Hello Biffa. If you are having problems holding people through a whole video, you could split it up into two 20 min videos. That way you are releasing 4 videos a week which will make your channel look like you are drawing a lot of traffic to the channel.

Larry Edwards (Larry Skylines)

For the next waffles and tea - Can you tell us how the Red Bull Metropolis came about and perhaps some insight? Going in to it, who did you think would be your toughest competitor? When can we see that trophy?

Biffa Plays

Hi. Actually, the longer the videos I do, the longer my watch-time is and the more the videos get promoted by YouTube :-)
