Love the new video! On pins and needles all week waiting for this! Great to see how others tackle the same problems. I find copper wire is a great item to shove into the awesome sink as it’s easy to produce. I usually have a storage container full of all the base materials and will rotate what item I feed Into the machine based on overstock. Your screw production looks like it needs some work! That is one material you will need thousands of for the next level of production so it would be good to look into dedicating an entire production line into screws. 1 mine feeds into 2 smelters, which feed into 4 rod constructors, which feed into 6 screw constructors

Hi. That thing that spat out the gas that you couldnt hit as well as the big rock that had quartz under it.. eventually you can make stuff to blow them up. Trust me, its worth the wait. You will come across a lot of those large rocks that you will need to blow up. Some are on mining nodes, some block paths through caves and some are on top of power slugs. From memory you unlock all of that in the sulphur research tree in the MAM. No need to rush it, you will get there eventually. Speaking of the MAM, I think you were missing the cost of performing research. The DNA capsule was not unlocked, it said "Can't afford" but all you needed was some of the alien protein that you can make and the crafting bench, you see what you need under the word "cost" while looking at it in the MAM. I hope all that made sense :) I do recommend unlocking smart splitters as soon as you can, before building your first proper factory. That way you can have your outputs on one belt and have smart splitters to split each item type off to its one storage container and all over flow can go to a sink. Worth looking at at any rate. Enjoy.
