THIS WAS AMAZING. The pacing and tension of the fight were so good! The fact that Lucia was the only one who could’ve reached the monster to knock it out was such a great way to force her to be physically proactive. I love these characters!!! Can’t wait for more :)

I like the saying what you need to roll, especially when it’s an important roll. Because as an audience member it makes those rolls so much more tense.

Also mechanically this encounter was awesome!!! Having things like difficult terrain, stunned and damage resistance come up made it feel so dynamic. And when it started trying to escape was an especially good moment, and when Alf showed up as the fight was starting to settle down was a great touch.

Love this episode, again, so surprised at the comedic and dramatic synergy yall have in this campaign. The tence moments were there and Alf the Alpha Elf causes the party Edward levels of grief for no reason.

THIS EPISODE WAS SO COOL‼️ Very quickly I got chills and teared up. The dynamic between the characters has changed dramatically, and the COMBAT CHOICES (dm and players) WERE AWESOME! I’m currently writing oneshots and stuff as a new dm and entire thing was so so inspiring. Can’t wait for the next episode!

I love the energy and dynamic in this show! The fight and the role play in episode 2 were amazing! Excellent job Grizz with the world building and tension. Those writing classes are definitely paying off! I also want to give credit to Milo for doing a great job with the game despite her/their (not entirely sure of current pronouns as I know she/they used they/them in the past but her/their twitter says she/her) relative newness to D&D.

That fight was so perfectly executed dude. Honestly I haven’t seen something so mechanically compelling in this format. Having the environment play into the encounter and the abilities were a great deal to think about and play around.

Also want to acknowledge that Grizzly was a good sport to incorporate Alf the Alpha Elf™️ into the story because the players became so attached to him, even though he was supposed to be a throwaway NPC with no backstory

This has been a Great campaign so far and has been so fun to listen to. I have the monster hunter board game and listening to this encounter has made me want to play it with more of a story behind it!
