I totally love the joke that in any given JRWI campaign, the moon is, with a high probability just the moon beast, an interdimensional eldritch being manifested by the quest for power of a bunch of hybrids wanting to move up the food chain

This is definitely some of my favorite writing from Grizz, these twists and reveals have me on the edge of my seat, there is always something cool around the corner in these sessions. Also the charecter descriptions are fantastic for people that can't imagine things as well, I can always create a vivid image of the scenes

Listened to the episode while at work and had to fight to hold back a laugh at the fucking moonbeast reveal. My coworker happened to walk by and gave me a weird look so I guess I didn't hold back my expression very well lmfao ALSO since grizzly said he reads the comments sometimes I'll put this here: personally I dig the more relaxed/less produced vibe of TMK. Just to speak for myself, I started supporting the patreon because I like what you guys are doing NOW, not to increase the potential for higher produced content, yknow? Like if I wanted to watch critical roll or dimension20 or whatever, I would just go watch that lmao. I like jrwi because it's a group of friends playing d&d and being funny, with some heart-wrenching/serious moments and great storylines interspersed. Grizzly, this episode was fucking awesome. I've been loving this campaign so much and your dming is perhaps the best thing since sliced bread. This plot went absolutely NOT where I expected and I've been losing my marbles consistently. Bizly Channel watch your fucking back. If you're gonna come for tidalwavers, say it pussy out or swallow your words like your characters swallow the allegations. Milo and Condi both awesome as usual, wonderful characters and I hope you kick Everett's ass next session. Or fix him. (For real though I love Everett being evil and fucked up. it's such a fun dynamic to have in the party)

Might be a hot take of mine but I think total monster kill has had some of the best voice acting in all of the JRWI campaigns by far. All the characters feel so genuine, with purpose and drive, especially the NPCs! TMK is quickly rising to become my favorite campaign, and totally not because I want to see Everett get Worse :) Seriously though this concept and the campaign as a whole is probably my favorite. So excited to see more!

Going off on what Milo was saying about the parrallels in the show as well as little hints, in episode 1 Grizz mentioned how Lucia was unsettled about how high up they were in the spire looking out the window even though she isn’t afraid of heights. It was freaky thinking about why he mentioned it in the first place, but knowing what we know now it is even scarier. • • • I can’t wait to rewatch this campaign after it is over to notice more little hints and foreshadowing scattered across the show. Grizz is doing an amazing job at dming as always and the rest of the crew have made such loveable characters that I’ll be sad to see their stories end

I will say: The King's plan to use the humans they've captured as batteries to combine herself, Hawk, Rock, Trey, Alf, Arterie, and Everett into a massive creature that will devour the moon to destroy all magic in the world and usher in an Age of Monsters is so extra and very metal that I almost want Jin and Lucia to fail just for this to happen. Unrelated: I wonder why there isn't any metal songs about devouring the moon since there are songs about devouring the sun.

alright first of all this episode was phenomenal and I loved every single moment of it. The series started out with a lot of goofy vibes, but I think even with the silly moments, y'all are setting the stage for an unforgettable finale. And that's honestly the core of why JRWI is so fun.
