Everything about it is so perfect to me and I was brought to tears several times not just cause of sad parts, but also moments where the things happening were so devastating only in the context of this story and the parellels it displayed within its self. this ending was genuinely so beautiful, and the music at the end really made it feel special. everyone did such an amazing job, but milo made my heart ache when Lucia and Mary spoke. i genuinely have never felt so much for a character before, and im so glad that in some way, Lucia did get a happy ending :(

That ending was so beautiful… It totally cements this as one of my favorite campaigns JRWI has ever done- right behind Riptide and The Fated. Spoilers: But I need to know what happens next!! Do they make it off the island?? Do Jin and Lucia become a thing?? My romantic ass cannot take this…

Spoilers: Mechanically the final fight against the moonbeast is so fucken good man. I love the idea of having to hit damage thresholds in order to make meaningful contributions to the fight. It does suck for Lucia tho, as the best she can do is heal and aid her allies, but I think overall it works to her character better that she doesn't aid in the killing of the Moonbeast until the end when she gives in and admits that Everett and Mary were right. EVERETT JAMES PETELBRIDGE FOR THE WIN BTW. HUMANITY BEEN A MONSTER JUST A DIFFERENT KIND WE EVIL BABY GOTTA FIGHT NO MATTER WHAT. The ending was heartbreaking af to see Lucia truly give up on everything. Really wish this episode had an epilogue as this campaign deserved the fuck outta it. Jin especially eon me over by the end. Not in a way where I think humanity should kill all monsters to survive or anything, but to see his ideals live true, and admit that he failed his friends was truly sad to see. Pebble was so fucken good beginning to end best character in JRWI he did the absolute most he ever could've and failed but never gave up. Overall this gotta be my favorite campaign, even over apotheosis (even tho I fw apotheosis heavy dude that campaign is so good). Anyway this more than justifies the patreon money as well as the rolleds good shit big g everything was amazing top to fucken bottom.

I am completely speechless. From Everett's Monster voice, to Lucia shouting stop and Jin's scream. And it all ending with Lucia among the stars that gave her her power, the power which she used to both betray, but also save her sister so she could finally have peace. Mary is such a tragic character. Her kind of childish thinking that if everyone could be the same, then no one would have any reason to hurt anyone anymore. Well done everyone, and thank you Grizzly for running this fantastic campaign

i personally blame Mary and Lucia's parents idc, if they acted like proper parents and responsible adults we wouldn't be here (or at the very least fighting the monster king would be a lot less childhood trauma-y) very "The Hole at the Center of Everything" of NitW soundtrack type ending no for real this was an incredible campaign and for it being only 6 episodes, the ending GOT ME IN MY FEELS BIG TIME ,,,, man the ending AND also knowing that things would not have gone this way if this wasn't a mini campaign, as someone said on twitter this shit wouldn't have happened if Alf and Everett just kissed slash jay Pebble carried who agrees? this is all incredibly sad and tragic and didn't have to be like this but i'm over here on my hands and knees over the fact that Pebble didn't manage to save Raven and Alf, team Alfa could have fixed each other and you can rip that conviction from my cold dead hands!! (team Sigma also would have fixed each other but don't get me started on that) all this to say INCREDIBLE JOB EVERYONE!!!!! all the voice acting was fucking banger and gave me many goosebumps, all the characters were very impactful, i hope Condi doesn't get a noise complaint and can continue screaming at the top of his lungs for our entertainment big props to the editor, the entire campaign went so hard and many sound decisions caried the atmosphere of the campaign incredibly MILO DID AWESOME AND I LOVED HER CARACTER AND I WOULD LOOVE TO SEE MORE OF HER ON THE PODCAST :D p.s. Oh my god amazing voice acting so good. The themes of humanity and monstrosity recently have been amazing: arthur in the suckening and Everett in TMK are top tier characters. JRWI never fails, no campaing ever feels less than any other. They are always hilarious and heartwrenching at the same time, from the early days of riptide and PD to the suckening, TMK and wanderlust. I can't wait for more, no matter what it is, riptide, PD, wonderlust, i want it all and it will make me cry no matter what.

I mean I know I’m alone in wanting the Moon Beast to win but you can’t say Grizz didn’t do what he could to let them win. Making pebble as strong as he did, making Everette fairly weak for what he is, leaving it up to a dice roll if the Beast was going to take its final turn, and throughout letting them get away with some things. It was a very cinematic fight but the “good guys” always win trope just gets tiring especially with the plot armor shown in this episode.

Great ending oh my glob. Head cannon it works differently, but feather fall lasts a minute and 500ft per turn from the edge of the atmosphere takes way longer than a minute

In no particular order: Grizzly, the absolute work and love you have put into both voice acting and storytelling is so visible that it is awe inspiring, you have made such amazing content and stories. Milo, came out of nowhere and dropped the absolute most heart wrenching performance, made me cry several times to this campaign. Condi, the emotion and rage that you put into this was both a wild trip and some of the most well rounded of a character being played that I have seen. Bizly, you managed to make both the funniest and most intimidating character ever, and played him to perfection. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, and was such a perfect story for this. Overall, probably the greatest campaign I’ve ever listened to in my life. You all did amazing and should be proud of what you’ve made.

< MAJOR SPOILERS!! > Fucking crazy ending, genuinely such a heartache inducing ending but so poetic and perfect. This was an amazing campaign, I can't believe having silly arm wrestling fights and throwing pieces of grilled cheese at Alf turns into a cleric being forced to finally kill, a fighter who thinks he has failed, and a friend that betrayed his own friends but, in the end, still had a small piece of humanity and care left for his friends. And it ends in the stars as our heartbroken heros softly fall back down to Earth, saving everyone but still feeling the weight of guilt and sorrow. Absolutely beautiful. Chat.. WE ARE SO NOT READY FOR WHEN RIPTIDE COMES BACK. Everyone's acting and Grizzly's DM'ing has somehow gotten EVEN BETTER. We are so fucked WE ARE NOT READY AT ALL Also everyone genuinely tearing up and sniffling, on the brink of crying, at the end was so heartaching, I almost started tearing up too. I fucking love JRWI so much.

The visual of the cracked helmet revealing Everett’s face is so good - he put on a beastly exterior, but despite what he wanted everyone to think, he never fully transformed into a monster underneath. Despite his best efforts, he stayed human.
