This episode was AMAZING. Every decision felt so RIGHT and CORRECT. Oh my god. I’m currently sobbing right now, but holy wow. Just WOW. Everyone involved should be proud, this was such a good story you’ve told. There were so many voice acting things that gave me chills, so many descriptions, the SOUNDS! One million out of ten. I hope Milo appears on more JRWI, she is AWESOMEEEE! TMK IS SO AMAZING, APPLAUSE APPLAUSE

Absolutely amazing campaign!! Weird to think it was a short as it is which makes it all the more impressive. I don’t know if I can explain it, but that ending gives me the same vibe as some of the classic ghibli movies like nausicaa and castle in the sky, it came together so well :D

But goddammit, props to all of you: To Grizzly: Your DMing and storytelling have really improved so much since Riptide (I haven't caught up entirely). You've finally got to do a serious campaign with high emotional impact, and I hope Riptide reaches the same quality. (...I'm both scared and curious) To Bizly and Condi: You really popped off on your acting! Honestly, you both should join Grizzly in his VA venture! To Milo: You...did...ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Your acting was on par with both Bebo and Condi. I'm glad that they pulled you on for this campaign, and I hope the JRWI boys pull you on for more campaigns or one-shots.

so, so, so phenomenal. incredible. you somehow condensed a massive story into such a short campaign, but it didnt lose its impactfulness in the least. grizzly’s voice acting was so good, and so was everyone’s, actually. all the npcs had their own unique personalities and motives behind their actions, and all felt like fleshed out real people. bebo played everett so well, and he felt like such a complex character despite what he seemed to be in the first few episodes. such an interesting character too. condi’s screams were top tier, (more of that please) and jin was so powerful? both game-wise and roleplay-wise. some spectacular dialogue. milo played lucia incredibly too, she had strong beliefs and stuck with them until the very end and she was oh so admirable!! her reactions to everything felt so raw and. the family lore… my baby… everyone absolutely smashed it and i think it couldn’t have gone better!!! this is actually a wonderful execution of a mini campaign. so cool 😿the plot was crazy. okay im done now but that was crazy insane awesome‼️

So many words and thoughts. Everything about this ending was incredible. From the voice acting, all the dm things, and even the rolls. Absolutely fantastic. Everyone has had so much growth and this campaign shows it off perfectly. Had me crying in the best way

so you're telling me that Mery was not only kinda spittin facts but also eating the moon WOULD HAVE WORKED and would have gone LIKE SHE INTENDED and wouldn't actually spell the death of all humanity, but would actually work out in the end and bring the end to human monster war????? head in hands, i wonder if the characters (looking at you Lucia) would have done things differently if they knew that i kinda had a feeling that Mery's plan wouldn't have worked even if they manager to succeed, bc like how the hell would she or any of the previous monster kings know what the fuck happens when you eat the moon and what kind of consequences that will have on the world, plus i thought her going for the moon was a red herring because all this time the magic was described to be originating from the stars also it's very funny to me that Grizz can not escape his "this already happened in an anime" curse because the first thing i thought of when hearing Mery's description was dungeon meshi, like hmm, a blond girl with a human top half and a dinosaur/dragon bottom half? that sounds vaguely familiar lul anyhow, banger campaign, bander acting from everyone, and i hope Condi doesn't get a noise complaint <3

Gawd man, this campaign was so great man. Excellent job everyone, I surely hope we get to see more of Milo on jrwi crew man, Lucia fucking tore me apart. Not to mention Jin and Everett bro...I'm in shambles, y'all did so goddamn great. This campaign has had some of my favorite character acting moments from the JRWI gang man. Also still shout out to Everett vs Alf. I'm not even kidding when I say that fight is one of my favorite fights on this podcast period. The friggin bkajcisnfksodnsj acting is so goddamn good.

[Spoilers for the end of the campaign] I think it's very ironic (and tragic, in some ways) how all three of the main characters sorta ended up contradicting themselves / their beliefs by the end of the story. Jin wound up sparing a "monster" despite vowing to kill them (and Everett) because of his humanity, Lucia had to kill two people she wanted to protect despite being an advocate for peace / nonviolence because killing them would save more people, and Everett's fear of being powerless drove him to a very tragic ending that left him alone AND powerless within an overwhelmingly powerful being. That hand holding ending was so sad but comforting at the same time :( Great campaign, definitely shed some tears at the end too.

Why did I not cry at the finale, but Bizly describing his realisation and putting that perspective of the ending with Everett needing to be strong because he was a scared boy and holding Lucia's hand at end not just because he wanted to say It's okay to her, but also because he needed to hold someone's hand because he was was terrified to die... that fucking broke me.
