In this episode Iv got something very special to share with you all.

We are going to go over converting the GSC Stalker assets for use in dayz!

I have spent the the last week going through the painstaking process of learning the xRay Engine/SDK so

hopefully you wont have to go through the same nightmares i did and i can show yous a few neat tricks iv learned.

After experiencing the whole process wich can take hours upon hours of your time on a simple house I decided this was not acceptable,

so I also wrote and released some custom batpy tools that anyone can use completely for free to speed up the whole process from hours to mere minutes!

We will be going into the whole process of how using my tools can benefit your work projects.

Ok lets get started!

Hybrid XRay SDK Kit (Link in the pinned messages in the patreon discord chat)

Please extract it to the root of any hard drive and dont have spaces in the name. Sometimes it does not like this.

Blender 3.6.16 (It must be this version) You can get it from Blenders website or from the discord in the batpy tools channel!

  ArmaToolbox Addon for Blender https://github.com/AlwarrenSidh/ArmAToolbox

  xRay Addon For Blender https://github.com/PavelBlend/blender-xray/releases

  Users must set up your SDK paths in the blender - preferences - addons - xray - paths - and add the path to your SDKs \gamedata. (It will autofill the rest)

Photoshop 2020 (I used 21.2.2. newer versions do not have a Normal Map Generator)

Python https://www.python.org/

  Make sure when installing python that you check the box to add it to your systems pathing!
