If you follow me on FB or Insta, you’ll know I’ve been having a few issue with “censorship” and restrictions. I’ve removed content as they’ve requested by their morality robots seem to have problems with anything I post still. I was thinking that maybe I will only post simple innocuous posts there and then subscribers to this page and my website would see the images that I really want to post. This would mean a daily posting (with different content on both website and Patron as usual). What do you think? It’s a lot more work and I might have to charge a bit more for it or maybe make it an optional addition to the normal sub?
Yeah Facebook is absolutely nuts. I’m constantly ending up in Facebook jail for things I posted years ago. 😂
I certainly don’t want to see you go to extra work but I’m fine with an extra charge or an optional addition. I’m sure your other fans will too. 🙂 Whatever makes you happy.
I shouldn’t let it get to me but sometimes it just gets me down. I have over 15,000 followers on FB and generally only a couple of hundred at most will see any post. Added to that, the AI robot censor finds pretty much everything I post “unsafe” and “sexual content” - and there’s no appeal for this. The tamest photos inexplicably break the rules and I’ve just had enough of being slapped down all the time by them. The other thing I have noticed is that up until recently we had my European and UK followers seeing my post during my evening and then all my US followers would see and like/comment on the post overnight. Seems I’ve gone dark in the US now and my and my stats are the same in the morning as when I went to bed - or maybe 1 or 2 likes and a few extra on the post reach?!?!
That’s ridiculous. You know, i report so much bullying and hate speech, trans phobia and racism, there’s whole groups dedicated to it and when I report Facebook does nothing! It’s such a flawed system. I’m sorry it’s affecting you x
