does anyone have any dumb-esque books they recommend? every time i’m in a slump, i do a hate-read (i read a “bad” book, like a b-rating book). and nothing is interesting me lol

This is by no means a b-rated book, but it is quite funny: Damned by Chuck Palahnuik.

It’s not fantasy, but it’s quite funny and a one-and-done. Might be a nice palate cleanser and it’s very easy to read.

I finished Terror at the gates and was assuming the worst for what others were saying but I actually really liked it! It’s different from books I’ve been liking lately so was refreshing and more relaxed. Overall, I’d actually give it a 4/5 and keen for the second book of the duology

i finished the book as well with pretty mixed feelings. didn’t love or hate it and won’t be chomping at the bit for the second book tbh 3/5 for me

I finished terror at the gates! i really wish romantasy books weren’t so predictable!!!! i had a fun time reading it regardless. i really like liliths character, but zahariev is so dull. i still gave it a 4/5 because i’m interested in the next book whenever it comes out & i loved the friendship between lilith and coco!
