Herring Gull artwork process (Patreon)

I wanted to capture my favourite times of the sea here in England. It's that soft summer feeling with a lurking raincloud in the background and the gentle orange lights on a misty morning that bounces across the blueness of the sea. 

Unfortunately I couldn't get to the coast this year, but watching wild swimming videos inspired me to capture these images that I wanted to do for a while! I may change the pose of the first one as its similar to my current gull piece.
