Big Video Coming And I Need YOUR Help! (Patreon)

Well okay, "need" is a bit strong but I definitely WANT your help!

I'll be resuming regular scripting sessions soonish but one of the reasons I really stepped up the uploads of the original series is because I had an idea as to how to return to Youtube properly. I want to re-edit and semi-rewrite my recap video of season one as a massive tierlist, call it "Every single episode of Pokemon season one RANKED" or something like that and link EVERY SINGLE VIDEO in the description! Plus I could also put each episode ranking up as a short since they're all really quick by necessity. Obviously without clips, but stills should probably be ok.

Now what I'd need your help with is figuring out what things I could keep track of in this run. Like I want to put up a "stat sheet" for each episode and wondered what could be put on there, especially in regards to recurring events or tropes. For instance, I want to count exactly how many Weird Mansions the twerps visit and how many times Ash basically said "try winning". Any suggestions would be great and I'll upload the original recap tomorrow to give you some ideas.

Couple of quick ideas at the top of my head. 1. How many times you correctly guessed the writer or head animator of a episode. 2. How many times they got lost in the woods 3. How many times a bridge was broken or broke while they walked across 4. How many times team rocket could of made a legitimate career but choose not to. 5. Power outages at pokemon centres. 6. Cites that are not in the games or cities that are in the game but don't have any notable landmarks

Hmm... Every time 4kids edited out English text from the original subs and then replaced it with random squiggly lines?

Random new city/town for no reason, problem that exists for no reason ("we don't go upstream..."), team rocket and twerps don't interact at all

I've got some ideas for what to count and what to call them. Dark Rockets: For when Team Rocket try to do something much darker than usual like threatening to use guns or unambiguously try to kill Ash. Rolled Eggs: For whenever Togepi wanders off. Fences, What Are Those?: For whenever the twerps accidentally trespass. Oh yeah, I forgot: For when something that should be something major is brought up, but not really mentioned again like the GS Ball or that Ash's original Pokédex could teleport teleport his Pokémon to and from Oak's lab, but he never uses that feature. Type Matches, What Are Those?: For when the show ignores type matches like Pikachu's Thunderbolts beating ground types. Powerless Center: For when a Pokémon Center is in need of power and the show forgets they have back-up generators. Not a Game: For when a game mechanic is brought up when it shouldn't like explicitly mentioning levels and hit points. Double Dex: For when Ash uses his Pokédex on a Pokémon he's already checked.

Some obvious suggestions but how about: 1. Every time a main character obtained a new Pokemon (through capture or evolving) 2. Every time there's an obvious or awkward dubism (stuff like the jelly donut) 3. Every time the characters actually remember previous episodes (so every time the writers make a call back) 4. Any time the show made you proper laugh out loud

I'll list some: 1) Route to Nowhere (Filler Episodes that could take place anywhere at any point). 2) What does this Pokémon do? - Giovanni 3) Missed Pokémon Catch Opportunities 4) How many filler episodes in a row? (Back to Back filler episodes, the worst offenders being 5 filler episodes - aka filler month - in a role) 5) Author's Signature Styles (How to identify a director or writer based on episode) 6) Real life events that affect the Pokémon show (whether it be something like the Seizure Shock, Earthquake, or even Pokémon promotions, it's best to know when the story goes off course due to real life circumstances).

How many times Ash tries to solve a problem by trying to brute-force things. .... a bit more literal in the movies, but happens figuratively several times: "It didn't work? I'll have to just do it *HARDER*!" Maybe bonus points for how many times it actually works.
