This is the video I'm remaking, also here for posterity. Let me know if there are any glaring errors I would need to update for the new recap but I'll also be doing a short scripting session later for the updated Youtube version so you can also help out then!

Talk about timing, work on this begins just in time for Pokemon TV on youtube

David Allen

The funny thing about Pokémon is looking at it as an adult. You see the same scenes but you think of them differently. It's really interesting watching another react to them as well. As always a fantastic job!

Well, the "first and only time Ash's dad is mentioned ever is now outdated due to one of the specials. For "The Water Flowers of Cerulean City", I feel it should be mentioned that Misty cheated by coddling Pikachu so it'd refuse to battle her. While it's true Ash easily could have swept her with Pikachu, it seems she took steps to prevent that from happening. If we're calling out Ash for cheating, I find it's only fair Misty is called out too.

Do we want to reposition Holiday Hi-Jynx and Snow Way Out to where its position would have been? For an actual error, it was 7 episodes between Cerulean and Vermillion, not 9. That’s the gap between Pewter and Vermillion

18:06 This Weekenders outburst, if you keep it, needs an acknowledgement that it’s compounded by FIVE YEARS OF DISNEY+ ABSENCE

Did this ever get remade as the description says?
