ImmersiveSA Beta 2.6 is now live for both Singleplayer and SAMP.

This update comes faster than usual and focuses on delivering three highly requested, groundbreaking technical features: natural wind physics for vegetation, a fix for disappearing shadows, and a brand new in-game configuration menu.

What’s new in Beta 2.6

Vegetation Wind Shader: Trees and plants now sway naturally in the wind, adapting to the in-game weather and time of day. (Requires an adapted vegetation mod, which is included as an optional add-on).

Shadow Culling Fix: Keeps objects behind the camera rendered so ENB shadows no longer pop in and out when you turn around.

New In-Game Trainer: Press F7 (or type immersive) to open a menu where you can toggle the wind and culling fixes on/off and tweak settings live. Navigate using the arrows or numpad.

Shader Optimization: Reworked the heaviest shaders to improve baseline performance.

Performance and Known Issues

The new Shadow Culling Fix can lower FPS depending on your PC setup. This is the first version of the fix, and you can expect performance improvements in future updates. If you experience heavy drops, use the new trainer to switch to "performance mode," which only stops trees from disappearing.

Installation

Drop Beta 2.6 over your existing ImmersiveSA files and replace everything.

Works for both Singleplayer and SAMP.

Thanks for the support and feedback!

Hello! I’ve had a chance to test version 2.6. The shadow issues have improved significantly, though some flickering still remains. I’m looking forward to future updates! I’ve also noticed several other problems: When I add MixSets or SkyGfx, the sun glare effect turns into a pentagonal geometric shape. With ImmersiveSA 2.6, trees fixed by Proper Fix look quite poor. After adding SkyGfx, the previously resolved shadow issues return. Flickering becomes extremely severe, and cutscenes are completely black when starting a new game. Reflections on indoor mirrors still show transparent sky instead of proper reflections. I hope these issues can be fixed in upcoming updates. Thank you for all your hard work, and I’m really excited to see Immersive SA keep getting better!
