ImmersiveDamage is out now for everyone. Cars dent exactly where you hit them, and as hard as you hit them. I know there are already car damage mods for Vice City, but none had the compatibility I needed and a few features were missing, so I decided to make my own.

What it does

Dents where you hit. The body caves in at the point of impact. A harder crash leaves a deeper, wider dent, and damage builds up the more you crash.

Bonnet and boot fold up in a crash instead of just being pushed in, and the fold is a little different on every car.

Wheels move with the damage. Hit something head-on and the front wheels get pushed back.

Wheels can come off in a hard crash, and the car drops onto that corner.

Everything moves together. Headlights, rear lights, exhaust smoke and engine smoke all follow the dented body, and rear lights break when you're hit from behind.

Traffic gets damaged too, not only your car.

Type REPAIR while in a car to fix it completely: shape, lost parts, wheels, lights, tyres and engine. Pay 'n' Spray works too.

Everything can be changed in ImmersiveDamage.ini: how strong the dents are, when wheels come off, the repair cheat word (or a key instead), traffic range and more. Every setting is explained in the ReadMe.

Good to know

Needs GTA Vice City 1.0 and an ASI loader. The Vice City Essentials Pack has one.

Tested on 1.0 together with ImmersiveVC. Other setups haven't been tested yet.

Works with Xbox Vehicles.

Don't use it together with other damage mods like LocalDentVC or Proper Vehicle Damage.

ImmersiveDamage is also included in the latest hotfix update of ImmersiveVC, in the Optionals folder.

This is the first release, so if something breaks or looks wrong, let me know and I'll fix it.

PopoAU

instantly crashes my game, even on a fresh install with only essentials + immersiveVC :( edit: i think my framecap within rivatuner was causing the crashes.. sorry.

If possible, can you make them compatible with MVL? Although Proper Vehicle Damage is supported, it crashes when repairing vehicles.
