I'M BAAAAAAAAACK!

And I brought a few new family members with me! Hope you don't mind.

It feels so gloriously good to be back in the swing of things, especially with this video. I haven't been able to tear into something with such analytical study and step-by-step breakdown in awhile! Feels good.

Thank you all for supporting me through the dark winter that's taken a lot of time away from making videos. It's been rough, but we're through the cold snaps!

Oh, and we'll have a Darkroom session on Sunday as long as I don't see anything to attend to getting in the way. I'll let you guys know.

For now, enjoy some Resident Evil 7: Biohazard on Night Mind!

For once, I will listen to the advice and stop watching.... Till I buy the game tonight & start playing. I haven't been this excited for a horror game since the older Silent Hill games. Argh... I want to watch, but I want to experience it with no spoilers too. I haven't even touched the demo. So for now, I wait! As to your video... *claps* Welcome back Nick, this was worth every minuet of the wait. Thank you.

Man, And I thought I was the only one praising the hell out of this gem of a horror experience! Thank you Nick for this video; it was definitely worth this wait. And so happy that you have returned. Can't wait for more!

Stop Skeletons From Fighting

hey nick!! great video!! i've beaten RE7 a few times now and you still managed to point out a couple things i missed, like the position of the eveline doll at the end, the moldy piece of toast, and extra monster that spawns when you try to run out of the basement. but i couldn't help but notice you hardly mentioned the boat and never mentioned the salt mine sections. by glossing over those two segments i think you give RE7 a little too much credit. you see, i totally agree with you this game has an amazing start, something new and exciting for the series, but then loses focus after the lucas section (possibly even before) when it remembers it's a resident evil game. you get so far from the baker house and things become a pretty standard action game. i thought the controls and gunplay were excellent so I didn't mind the salt mine's too much but i couldn't help but be bummed out by such a tonal shift. did that just not both you at all? -da

That was a great video, Nick. Perfect topic to comeback on. I learned a lot about the game that I did not think of before. I especially liked the steps you mentioned on how to develop a horror web series, game, etc. by using those four steps. I feel like that's going to help me immensely in developing the web series. Glad you were able to come back on such a high note.

That was a great video! There's no way I'm playing the game (there is way, way, way too much gore for me to handle, especially in a first-person game, not to mention severe spider issues). Having said that, this was a(n as usual) well thought out video on what really seems like a very well-made game.
