For those interested, here’s a little update on the Bambu: it broke again! The mechanism that grabs the filament and pushes it into the nozzle got stuck and made quite a mess.

Hmmm... is this covered under a manufacturer's warranty, Sayaka?

Todd Pollman

If you swear at it maybe it will work. 🤷🏼‍♂️

NOOOOOOO!!! What the HECK? Is this another issue related to heat in the attic? Sorry you are having these problems, but I know you can fix it-you are Patient. You are level-headed. You are very Talented. Please keep us posted-

Jon

I’m starting to think your Bambu might be slightly cursed 😅

The extruder teeth can get worn down if you do a lot of carbon fiber printing. But if the printer is relatively new, that shouldn't be a problem just yet.

Maybe he doesn't like the working conditions... try being gentle with him 😅

I don’t think it’s the heat at this point! I’ll dig deeper and figure out what’s really going on

Markintosh

Wow-please DO! We’re all in this together! I have an A1. Not the same, of course, but in the same family. We want to know real world issues with our devices.

Bleh, 3D printer problems..... I have trauma from my printers over the years.

JLG33

Yes. At this point, it might be best to go back to the basics. Things like checking that the filament isn't binding up anywhere along the path from the spool to the extruder head. And though you replaced the nozzle recently, it may be worth your time to check to see if it is clogged. And then also check that the spring is pressing the extruder gear onto the filament firmly. Occasionally people will see issues where a tiny bit of debris will be stuck in there and it doesn't apply enough pressure with the gear onto the filament. Good luck! Let us know what the problem ended up being.

Thank you. It’s considered consumable material, so it’s not covered by warranty . You just need to reorder it. I managed to fix it in the end anyway! 🙂

Sam Meek

Of course you did, because you're Sayaka 😄
