I recently found three vintage Game & Watch units at a flea market. Two of them seemed to work, but the other one had severe battery corrosion and wouldn’t turn on. In this video I go through the entire repair process: cleaning the board, rebuilding damaged traces with copper wire, replacing a loose capacitor and restoring proper button contact.

Nice repair! The work on the key traces, tracking down that bad contact, and the new battery cover (match the color is the toughest part)—so good 😊. I used to restore my vintage LEGO boxes just like you do 😉, and last but not least, let me reword Duke Nukem 3D… “Damn, you’re looking good! 😎💪🏻”

I knew you could fix them! I like how you attacked the damaged button pad area! (I also saw your hidden message! lol )
